I saw The Browning here. It was great. The venue is a single level music hall connected to a bar that offers BBQ. I tried the mac n cheese and it was everything you want a great mac to be. The staff are friendly. There is seating in the restaurant area as well as an outside patio area with picnic tables. There is standing room only in the music hall. The venue asks that you park along 45th street. I was able to find street parking easily that was close to the venue.
Went here to see Franky and the Witch Fingers. Great venue. I got hungry after the second band so I ordered up the brisket tacos and they tasted so damn good! I am definitely going back to this place again.
I’ve been to the Globe twice now, and had a great time each time. I love the ambiance in the bar area, which has an updated feel to it and doubles as a BBQ joint. It’s on the small side but doesn’t usually get uncomfortable. I’ve watched 2 live shows now, and the sound quality for the room is impressive. Had a great time! Only regret was not trying the BBQ yet, which is normally high on my list. Cheers!
Awesome service, great jackfruit BBQ sandwich, coleslaw and tots, very affordable cocktails and good beer selection. Played great music in the bar area, indie rock and the like. Going to a show there later this year, seems like an intimate venue, which I like.
This is a very cool mix of a place. Really decent barbecue, a good bar and beer tap, and a nice little concert venue. The back patio is a great little cherry on top. If there's a show going on that you'd have any interest in, I would highly recommend this joint.
I love playing here! I must say, the sound guy David is exceptional. Fans came up to me afterwards saying it was one of my best shows, and it was largely because David mixed my vocals so well! Love the BBQ. Forest is a very personable door man! Bar staff is great. Thank you thank you ✌?✌?
Really tight and crowded bar area, no place to sit to watch the show. But good food and great staff
Great BBQ and great music venue.
From out of town and stopped in for dinner. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was very good and very tender. Bartender was very nice and service was fast. It's a small little hike in the wall which is exactly what I was looking for. Next time I'll try and take in the music.
Great dive bar with an even better stage area. Also the BBQ is really good. I've seen several great bands play here and it's a great size room.
