Great hole in the wall, as fresh as it gets! The cook came out as I was ordering, and the second I paid, she was right on battering the fish. I could just about watch it all be prepared. The half order made a great lunch, and I saw two people split a whole order! Definitely will go back next time I'm in the neighborhood
Went for a Tuesday night happy hour which had great food and drink specials. I got the cod and tilapia. Food was on the greasier side of good. Would go back though.
Oh my goodness mate, I’m chuffed to bits after eating this brilliant British food. It was bloody fantastic! I popped in as a party of one for some fish & chips and was greeted by the lovely customer service. The food came out promptly and I was gobsmacked by the flavor. Absolutely smashing! Next time I come back, I’m bringing my mates! 5 stars!
Always good food, went a lot during the pandemic.Cod is wonderfully prepared, and has a good batter. Fries are nice too. They’ll have little servings of all the side you can think of for your take away order if need be.Tried to get their a couple of minutes early, mainly as just an inherent flaw of to go, crispy fried foods become soggy in containers. Would open them up on the way home to make sure they stayed nice, and crispy as prepared.
Can't go wrong with 75¢ PBRs and warm, delicious shepherd pie! I ordered a raspberry mojito also and wow was it fresh ? the staff is always super fun and awesome!
Great place, loved the food and the service. I ordered the 3 piece cod with chips and coleslaw on the side. It had a great atmosphere, loved the soccer jerseys hanging in the dining room. Highly recommend!
Very disappointed. Really high hopes after I read other reviews about how great the fish and chips were, but mine were meh at best. Looked really good, but no taste at all even after adding lemon juice and make vinegar. Very crispy and golden brown, but no flavor. The chips were really good though. Maybe just my batch of cod.Quaint little place with lots of charm the staff were great.
I came and got the Tuesday tilapia, and some fries.The bottom of the to go basket was wet, I thought maybe the vinaigrette sauce spilt….. NOPE, It was grease. The fries were soggy with grease and the fish was literally juicing into my mouth with grease. Didn’t eat the entire meal.
This is a great Fish & Chips place! They have a variety of fried fish items and combos. Their clam chowder is amazing! They have online ordering, to-go, dine-in as well as an outdoor patio. They serve beer as well. Friendly staff and fairly quick service. Street parking or off street parking is available. Would recommend to fish and chip lovers.
