Located in the milk district, close to the Coors field baseball park. Upscale sushi restaurant, featuring great drink menu and excellent sushi and fresh oysters on the half shell. Be sure to visit them during happy hour 4-6 pm or one before closing. We tried the following: surf and turf roll, soft shell crab roll(basically a spider roll), pork gyoza- generous portions and very good! The oysters were fresh and prepared with a tasty vinegar seasoning. I also recommend their lychee martini!
Great service & nest sushi ever ??
We were downtown at 7 grand for a scotch tasting. The food and service was excellent. We were there around 9pm. No hot food was available after 9 which was a bit disappointing, the food we did get was excellent. We were hoping for a option to have hot food and 1 hour before close I thought was a bit early to close the hot side of the kitchen. The staff and food was of good value and it wasn't too noisy for a date night.
This restaurant has amazing food. The dragon roll was so delicious! I had the privilege of having my first old fashioned drink. I will definitely be back!
This place is a vibe! From the interior design, to the food & plating + the service. My boyfriend and I love to go on dates here. We really like their sashimi options specially yellowtail! our favorite sushi roll is the *SURF'N'TURF & the *FOR[A]GED ROLL!
I went during happy hour and then got charged full price. I enjoy going here, but that did upset me greatly.
The yellowtail roll was probably my favorite. The mushroom ponzu sauce was insanely good. I’ll definitely be back. ?
An odd, up and down experience that culminated in an alright dining experience. The cocktails were nice, those were enjoyable. The karaage is fried chicken, so hard to mess up. It was nice and crispy so that was pleasant. The kimchi fried rice was straight up whack. It doesn't even look like kimchi fried rice. They either forgot the brine and/or the gochujang because it was flavourless and has no spice. The kimchi was sliced so thinly, I could barely find it.The baos were alright. Smallish portions, bun wasn't quite fluffy enough, but the garnish was refreshing. The sashimi and sushi were also good, which probably shouldn't come as a surprise since it's a sushi restaurant. But it was quite expensive to get any substantial amount of sashimi/sushi.It took us 5-10 minutes to get a table despite the capacity being less than half. But our server was great. The lighting was pink and the music was overbearing. They were kind enough to turn it down outside and did tell us the lighting was customizable and for a group of women on the upper level.Just a strange up and down experience at this joint.
The tuna taco was absolute incredible. But I got their most expensive role, I felt like I was cheated out of a lot of the fish. Maybe it was my expectation based off of the description, I was expecting more. The pricing here is pretty expensive, but it makes sense because it’s a downtown location. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t go back. There Omakase experience was very delightful
Amazing!! Gorgeous decor, fun music and vibes, extensive whiskey selection, high end but well priced sushi, raw bar and drinks. Karim gave us exceptional service even though they were slammed. 1/2 priced rolls @ 9pm. I highly recommend!! Dairy block rocks!!
