7/20/22 - The manager came through screaming “3 minutes to close! Everybody needs to get out! Everybody needs to get out NOW!” A man said to her that a 3 minute warning to clear the building is not sufficient for everyone to clean their tables, close up what they were working on, take care of getting kids ready to leave, use the restrooms, etc. The woman manager approached him and said, “Excuse me? You don’t need tell me what to do. You need to leave now! Go use the restroom across the street! Get out now!” Then the sloppy 6' teen/young man working at Schlotzky’s came out from behind the counter and started approaching people menacingly and yelling for people to leave. Final Approach was filled with customers shaking their heads in disbelief on what this rude blue-shirt manager was yelling at everyone and they started shouting back at this latina manager woman when she finally yelled at everyone, "Get the "F" OUT!" I think that's part for the course on how many people experience DIA nowadays. The airport has always been lacking in terrible signage, cop speed traps, unprofessional employees, but the rudeness of the people running the Final Approach is beyond unprofessional. Tia’s wasn’t open with no reason given. And, the counters at Schkotzkys were filthy. Terrible experience and even worse management -- especially the shockingly low level of professionalism of Final Approach. Shameful.
Needs "hours of operations" signs per booth, but otherwise no issues. I went to get Auntie Anne's, but it was not yet open and I did not know how long I needed to wait for it to open.
Great place to wait for flight arrivals! Clean restrooms and several food and beverage choices while you wait. Outdoor tables as well, if it's a nice day! Live airline arrival and departure screens are convenient!
Facility at Denver International Airport cell phone parking lot/area. Gas, food and drinks available via several on site fast food restaurants and a convenience store. Easy access to airport via Pena Blvd.
Great area to wait for your passenger to arrive as its 5 mins away from the DIA. TV screens showed passenger flight status which was so nice. It was a great place to take a rest break and get something to eat. The restrooms were sparkling clean. Definitely would visit again if I was waiting someone's flight to come in.
Definitely an upgrade over the old school cell phone lot of yore. Many a good time there using Shirley Septic and inhaling fumes from other cars. Only problem is that the Final Approach is actually closed almost half of the hours in a 24 hour day, so you end up in the parking lot without a toilet and still inhaling fumes from other cars. #bummerday. Staring at dunkin donuts sign and wishing I could buy one.
The employees at this Denver airport subway restaurant were nice and working as well as they could, with limited ingredients so I won't blame them. We used the Subway app to place an order and that's a major mistake because this location (and probably others!) don't use the app. How a major corporation can't fix their app so that it does not let you place an order and take your payment is pretty absurd! We got into the line and when we got to the counter we told the employee we placed a web/online app order. He was very nice and apologetic and told us their location doesn't use the Subway app and another employee said that we should see a refund within 24 hours! Which it did take almost that long to see the credit and we sent the Subway Corp a message and twitter tweet and no response. So we decided to place an order at the counter and they are out of many items, so we had to order something else. It is a busy location since it's in an airport and the employees (I'd give them four stars) are trying so don't blame them. But the Subway Corp management would get zero stars. They need to fix their app! If you really need a sandwich, you should stop at one of the locations on the way to the airport and not have to deal with a long line and out of stock/not available items. And it will be much cheaper at the non airport location.
The restrooms are in bad repair for anyone with accessibility needs. Single restroom out of order and in the mens room no lock on the accessible stall.
Easy to find parking spot with some okay options for food while waiting on the people you are picking up at the airport. Has monitors showing arrivals info at the airport. Has public restrooms and plenty of tables to sit and wait.
I think it should stay open 24 hrs, because of people flying in late..some people in their we're rude!
