The garden is very nice and the beer and drinks menu is pretty good. The service was pretty good also, very hard not to recommend the musubi and the loco moco!

fieldTRIP and Recess (they share a large patio) have a TON of potential but unfortunately fall short.Drinks:They have a decent selection on par for the area. Beer was crisp, clean and cold no complaints here.Food:Had the rolls which were okay, served with three sauces that were pretty hard to differentiate besides the one that I think was BBQ sauce. Burnt Ends were quite disappointing. They weren't undercooked from a safety standpoint but think they could be smoked for another hour or two as they weren't as crispy or "burnt" as someone who's previously had burnt ends would expect, really enjoyed the macaroni slaw they came with.Atmosphere (Patio):Huge patio space with many different levels and seating arrangements, definitely a cool layout that makes you feel like truly being in a backyard location. They had a ton of heaters but think they could do with more shade/umbrellas.Service:Servers were decent, kitchen was slow on an off time, think I'll stick to drinks and light apps in the future. The biggest turnoff for me is that they don't allow dogs on the main patio after 3pm Friday and Saturday. I understand the motivation but wish it was a 5pm cutoff as I love to take my pup on a walk and stop at some place for a late lunch/early dinner between the rushes and this kinda prevents that at Recess/fieldTRIP. They apparently allow dogs at all times on their street level patio but it's not very visible from the main restaurant (I would imagine service there is even worse) and you don't get much of the other atmosphere benefits like music and other people.

Got delivery cause the menu looked interesting. Katsu sliders were fantastic. The sides like the beans and the mac salad had a ton of flavor and were really well made. Great salad as well. It is a drop pricey for the portion size, but the food is worth it.

Food was not the best. If you’ve had real Hawaiian food I do not recommend this place. Everything tasted horrible. The rice was burned on my dish and there was something in the sliders that literally burned my nose because of how strong the taste was. Only good thing here are the drinks so if drinking and socializing is your thing then this is the place but do NOT get food here. Your stomach will be growling at you for the next few days. Go to L&L instead. Trust me, they are AUTHENTIC hawaiian food.

The bartender was nice and working by herself, which also included being the waitress. The food itself was under portioned and was not good, especially putting cold macaroni salad or beans as a side dish to an already bland food that lacked any form of character.

Been here two times in two weeks and the drinks do not disappoint. We haven't gotten any food yet, we tend to land here post-brunch to keep the party going, but the menu looks amazing as well. Try WHATEVER the daiquiri of the day is, we've had peach-kiwi, and lime-kiwi; they're awesome.

Fun atmosphere, great cocktails, and awesome Hawaiian food. The loco moco and spam musubi are a must.

Have mix feelings about this place. I saw a tiktok from DenverFoodScene that painted this place as a Hawaiian restaurant, but really it's more of a Hawaiian THEMED BAR that serves small portion food. The food was good but just not what we expected. Also not saying that they are claiming to be but this is NOT an authentic Hawaiian place. (This was all my fault for not researching the place more.) I would definitely go back with friends and have fun socializing but not to have dinner. The vibes where very nice though!

The bad: The server tried delivering food to the wrong tables numerous times. The “pina colada” was basically iced milk with rum, and the rolls were clearly just pulled from a fridge and were not freshThe good: Unique menu. The chicken dish was good. Their sauces are excellent. Cool concept but they have some tweaks to make.

Like the atmosphere, staff/people super cool. Rum drink were excellent. Didn’t really care for the spam roll but everything else was good.
