There’s a sign on the door that says “Kitchen open till 11pm daily.” I walked in at 10:15 and was informed the kitchen is closed. I politely commented that the door said it was open until 11am daily, not too bothered by it. But then the bald bartender sharply told me that’s not what the sign on the door said. And then I became bothered. Won’t be back.
What dive bar offers fresh cracked pepper for the house salads? The gluten free artichoke hearts and fish and chips are top notch! I'm not even gluten sensitive, and it's still super tasty!!! Bloody Mary mix is amazing, the smoked pepita drink is also great (and I'm not usually fond of mezcal). Honestly blown away by food and drink and service quality from a place that first seems like a dive bar. Great, can't recommend enough!
Service so friendly... neighborhood friendly atmosphere. Great beers on tap. The food... holy monkey. The ghost salted fries are spicy and OFF THE HOOK!
This place was AWESOME! My brothers fiancee has celiac disease and this place took her condition very seriously. She was able to have pretty much every appetizer besides the soft pretzel and she usually can't get anything. Our waitress was super kind and caring. All of our food turned out amazing. Dedicated gluten free tap lines. 10/10!
This is a great place. Owner was fab n friendly. Great margaritas, not the overly sweet kind and the food was sooooo amazing and fresh. Great warm quinoa salad, crazy delicious burger and pulled pork nachos to die for!! Friendly, fun and affordable.
This place is absolutely fantastic! The food and beer are wonderful, and on top of that they are incredibly attentive to food allergens and sensitivities. This is one of the few restaurants I would consider "celiac friendly" (the owner has celiac disease himself). They also handle other allergens very well, have dedicated fryers, etc. This is our new favorite spot in Denver!
Absolute gem of a restaurant! A Celiacs paradise! They have a dedicated fryer for their gluten free food. The owner is a celiac. They really go out of there way to make one feel comfortable regarding food allergies. They have specific shaped/colored plates for the gf food so one knows it's gf. My partner is allergic to garlic and they were able to work with him as well. Highly recommend. I look forward to visiting Denver again to come here.
My fiancé and I were traveling and looking for a good gluten free place to stop, and this place was awesome! Everything but one item on the menu is capable of being made gluten free, they have designed plates to make sure the right food gets to the right person safely, all sauces made in house, and separate fryers! Food, price, and vibe was great. When we’re back in Denver, we’ll be back for sure!
One of the best. Excellent service, beer and food. GF options and they can bring the spice if you want (ghost pepper seasoning). TV placement is also excellent. ?
