I really like their pizza. Their LARGE is truly a LARGE, not a medium trying to be a large. Walk their talk, I like that in a business (and in a person)Dough, sauce and cheese are just like NY style pizza. My friends and I got the Hawaiian pizza, delish! I will definitely go again!
Edit: still love this place, but change your hours if you're going to close your dining room early.Pizza, Burgers, Loaded Fries, & Beer. You just can't beat Fat Sully's.Fat Sully's is my go to spot to grab a slice of pizza in Denver. The slices are huge and you can top them anyway you'd like. If you have enough people then I recommend getting one of their massive pies! They also have a fantastic late night hally hour where. You can get a 1-topping slice and a beer for $5!Don't sleep in their lights out burger either. It's truly one of my favorite burgers in town.
No dairy free options whatsoever and I felt like the waiter barely cared.I know it’s a pizza place, but all of their pizza comes precooked with cheese on it so unless you want to purchase the $20 gluten free pizza (which is probably made with milk) then you are out of luck.I ended up having to eat an impossible burger with no bread. So basically a patty with 4 pickles on it - $15. Definitely will not come again - especially since the service was pretty bad and uncaring.
My brother was in town from the northeast and although I was hesitant to take him for pizza AC/FS didn't disappoint. He loved the pizza. On top of that, my burger didn't come out right and to my surprise the kitchen remade the burger and the manager came out to make sure to tell me they were going to take it off the bill. Exceptional service to accompany the great food.
Love the pizza here but you guys should change the way Postmates has your pizzas listed. I clicked on the 20” red pie, the picture had pepperoni on it so I assumed it was a pepperoni, but when I got the pizza it was just cheese. You guys should change the pic to just a cheese pizza so it’s more clear for people.
Fat Sully’s is as close to NYC pizza you can get in Denver, in my humble opinion. I also really love getting a side salad to kick things off!
This place is great, location is awesome too. Service is always good, drinks aren't too bad and most likely they'll have something you would like on tap. I usually go here for the Giant pizza, is always great for the fam. When ordering i would just recommend to order it "well done or crispy" that way is well cooked and you will taste the difference. I would also recommend to get your pizza "double-cut" that way your slices aren't super big. Trust me, these two small details will make the difference. Weekends are a bit packed, so for larger groups expect a wait, if not just sitting at the bar makes it fun too. Hope this helps.
Came on a Thursday around 1:30 pm. Solid NY style pizza. Awful NY style pizza joint.Genuinely this is some of the best NY style pizza in Denver. The crust, sauce and cheese are on point as it relates to the classic NY pie. However, the pizza offered by the slice in classic NY is not properly done in the traditional NY way. It does not come fast. Be prepared for them to take at least 15 minutes to make the pizza with the toppings you requested (I ordered a simple slice of pep) and cut you a slice from the aforementioned pie. There are no regular pies ready to be heated in the oven with your toppings of your choice, as is commonly done in NY. Also, you cannot walk around with your slice - a criteria specific to the NY slice. The cut is too large and unmanageable, even after folding. Lastly, a single-topping slice is NOT cheap. It was over $20 for four slices - three pep and a plain slice. One major tripping point is that menu is not readily visible. There is a small QR code next to the order window which leads to the website of the neighboring biscuit company. We had to ask for paper menu and we’re largely unprepared to order quickly. Lack of a visible menu made for a lengthy discussion about topping offerings at the slice window, jamming the ordering process and lengthening the wait for pizza. Our slices came stacked in a box separated by paper. The slices underneath the top slice all stuck to the paper on top, pulling up much of the topping (see photo). A classic NY slice is on top of paper and a paper plate.Although the NY style pizza is very good and true-to-form, the to-go slice window is a painful experience and offers nothing similar to the ones in NY.
My family and I tried Fat Sully’s for the first time to celebrate my kiddo’s birthday, and it was amazing! Great atmosphere and the staff was super nice. Great deal on the pizza and my husband and I are still talking about how delicious our burger was. ? Definitely coming back with friends for pizza and drinks next time!
Ordered wings, didn’t get them. Wanted half cheese, half 4 toppings on a large pizza. They put 2 toppings on each side.Oh well, I’ll order it again, it was delicious and everyone makes mistakes… and they refunded us anyway. Actually looking forward to the next time.
