Placed my order and got an error, my wife paced an order and didn't get an error. 5 minutes later I received an email confirming my order was received. She called the restaurant, was placed on hold for 5 minutes, explained the situation to the manager, Chris, who stated that both orders were ready and that it sounded like we were trying to scam them. After arguing and needing to state the obvious that we only wanted one order, he agreed to relinquish the food. When we finally showed up to the restaurant the food was not ready. I waited 5 minutes in good faith and then requested both orders to be canceled. While waiting for the food, the point of sale system also experienced an error. When I called the manager Chris for an explanation he stated that their policy is to not have their food ready before the client shows up? I requested the owners name and contact info but Chris the manager declined to provide such info and would not give a reason why.I've been to this place once every couple weeks for almost a year now and it is a shame to be treated in this way when the technology was obviously at fault. We were not rude or disrespectful in any way, just didn't want them to make two orders and to be charged twice. The reaction of the manager was uncalled for and the worst demonstration of customer service I have experienced in a while.Chris the manager accused my wife of being a scammer and then proceeded to lie multiple times. If I can't trust the manager of a restaurant how am I supposed to trust the food? The owner should be aware of who is representing their company so poorly.
I was coming from Aurora I tried to order online and couldn't so I called and was immediately put on hold. I was driving on hold & got to the store and was hung up on. I walked in & let them know I was on hold & hung up on. Andrea the manager let me know that there are only two of them & the phone must of hung up & basically shrugged her shoulders.i told her a simple apology or how can I help you know would suffice. Instead I received attitude & she let me know she wouldn't be apologizing for the phone hanging up since it did it on its own. And that I could complain on her if I needed to. I let her know I was not here to make a complaint on her just customer service would of been nice. I loved this place from the time it opened & I lived in tjis neighborhood & even after it switched owners. Now I know why i won't be coming back & will find a new place.
This place has definitely gone downhill. The serving size is a joke compared to a steak in Philly, the last 3 inches of my sandwich is all bread. The taste has also gone downhill. Seems rushed and thrown together. For $11+ bux you're better off going elsewhere.
I stopped here twice now and got the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Phenomenal! Better than the Buffalo chicken sandwiches I’ve had in New York!We were greeted when we walked in the door!Everyone was super nice!I should’ve looked at names but the lady at the register was so nice and remembered me from the first time I stopped by, this is a rare thing for me to have a place remember me. We joked and laughed, honestly this made my day!We ordered and sat down for a minute and our fries were brought out within the minute. The man cooking and making the sandwiches brought our sandwiches to the table. Our food was hot and definitely the best tasting sandwiches we have had!!My grandsons have also been asking to go here again, twin autistic boys that are specific with their foods. This makes me so happy as well that they asked for Famous Philly instead of fast food!I drive across town from Lakewood just to come here!! Totally worth the drive!Thank you !
Tasted really good, and the frozen fries were better than the badly-executed fresh-cut fries of most cheesesteak places. Sandwich completely fell apart. Flavor is important, but so is structural integrity.
The taste for me has went down a bit. Very dry my last 2 visits have been. Maybe the cooks need a lesson or so on Subs esp eastern style one's. Location is great service is great. Just the taste hasn't been there .
Delicious sandwiches, fast service, good prices. Next time I’d add extra cheese.
Great Philly Cheesesteaks. I came back the day after trying Famous for the first time to buy for my whole staff because they had to try "The Works". They were a hit! Seriously delicious and no fuss.Wish the dining room was kept a little nicer but definitely not a deal breaker at all.Just writing this makes me want to stop in for a sandwich.
The food is good. The Manager said they were rated #1 in Colorado. I didn't see that. He also said they are owned by Taste of Philly. Basically the same food. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but not the best I've ever had. Nice little neighborhood place.
Stars for Great Service at the Front Counter. But if I could go back in time and make a different decision for dinner… Cheesesteak, Fries, added some tenders for good measure. 20 bucks and it was Institutional-grade at best.
