Took a risk on cheek meat taco. Was rewarded. No frills decor, but food was delicious and served quickly. Will make my list of taco places in Denver.
The food was delicious and was ready in under 10 minutes of me ordering. I ordered a smothered steak burrito with a bottle of coke and took it to eat nearby. It is full of flavor and great smells. Definitely a perfect local Mexican restaurant to stop for lunch.

Came here during my stay at Denver. AMAZING FOOD!!! The food has that homemade taste to it. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Their tacos, chilaquiles, and smothered burrito were the bomb!! And for the price? Amazing food at an amazing price. Next time I’m in Denver again I’ll stop by again ❤️
Absolutely one of the best--if not THE best--authentic mexican restaurants in Denver, and that's saying a lot. Very much no-frills. Get take out (because there is really limited seating). It helps if you speak Spanish, but they don't care if you order by number in English. Fast, efficient, and DELICIOUS.

ordered the tacos plate w lengua (cow tongue) and an order of chips and salsa. everything was delicious. lengua was juicy and tender, beans were fresh and salsa had a smokey flavor with a little heat.food came out quick~
This place is one of the classic spots for a reason! Awesome smothered burrito— I’ll be thinking about this one for a while. Green chili was delish and had a nice spice level. Fiancé really enjoyed her tacos too. We will be back!
