East Tao Ramen has the absolute best variety to choose from and you will not be disappointed! From their miso soup, drunken noodles and their vegetable ramen were to die for! They have a great atmosphere, environment and the food just tops it all off! Mike, our waiter was exceptionally wonderful as he took great care of us throughout the entire meal.Highly recommend this restaurant, 10/10 will come again!
Just left the restaurant there, the guy served us was really sweet but the food was average in some parts and not good in others. It also took a good while to arrive. In the restroom the bottom of the toilet looked very dirty like it hadn’t been scrubbed in ages and I could see into the kitchen upon returning from the restroom and the floor and surfaces were very gross. I’ve worked in restaurants and know they get messy but this was unsanitary.When I let the people at my table know they looked in their drinks and both found flies in them.Our server tried to engage us in conversation as we left but we just said everything was fine and still gave a tip because he was nice to us and we just wanted to leave.As we left the restaurant I saw a cockroach on the floor…I’m almost nervous leaving the review as I see the owner of this restaurant always replies to comments and doesn’t really take responsibility for things going wrong, I can only hope that myReview will those working at East Tao to make it better for others in future.
This place is great! I was walking home after some drinks, and the restaurant was still open (it's hours are a little later than many other places around). I ordered the tofu ramen. It was absolutely delicious. But also, the owner came out to chat with me, they were really friendly, and I even saw them let some random person use their washroom. They are just kind/good people serving a great product and working hard. They weren't fussed to have me dine in even though I was the only person and it was late. And then the ramen came and completely hit the spot. I highly recommend this place.
The spicy beef ramen was SO good for my soul. Not expensive at all. We also got a customer reward card type thing so if we keep going we eventually get a free meal! I’ll definitely be back!!
We've tried really hard to like this place, but now having read some of the lower rated reviews, it makes sense. A lot of the veggies are still frozen in the middle, I noted to make the drunken noodles extra spicy, and they barely even had sauce on them and they were tasteless. We ordered ramen from here a while back and had a similar experience. for $34 for two dishes, definitely does not meet in quality.
Very nice restaurant for dine in. The customer service is excellent. They have drink special now buy one get one free. I got the beef line in add spicy and the green tea boba. It’s all delicious!
East Tao is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, they have GREAT sake selection and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. I usually order their chicken green curry and raspberry chess roll, Love it!!!
I used to order delivery from this place cause the ramen is good, but I decided to go visit the place and that was the biggest mistake ever! I order for takeout and then seated at the bar, it was then when I saw tiny roaches walking all over, I even took a pic of the one walking closer to me, makes me wonder how the kitchen is. I most definitely would not be back.
If you want to pay for cheap and microwaved food this is the place to goResponse to owner - not sure how you even know me based on a profile as I never showed my ID for a drink or told you my name, and I look completely different than that 5 year old profile pic I have. But you can say I ate a lot of my food if it makes you feel better. My girl friend and I could hear the microwave go off multiple times and the food was very obviously not cooked to order.
Great ramen, great drunken noodles, great boba, great spring rolls! The atmosphere looked like it had cool nightlife but we got an early dinner. Will definitely visit again!
