Best espresso near my house.. but I wish they had an alternative to their, now massively expensive, artisan coffee.I paid $50 for breakfast the other day. I’m normally not cheap but burning half of $100 for a coffee and a reheated burrito.. it really got to me. Just to be clear, it was $50 for a coffee/burrito for both me and my girlfriend AND I snagged a bag of their coffee beans ($20). Yes, I should have checked the price before ordering.. however.. I came here with a suggestion; If they offered a cheap cup of drip coffee, I would probably go there daily. I’d probably even spring for more expensive options from time to time. They seriously do make the best espresso around. The suggestion is that having lower quality, lower overhead, and lower cost options might bring in more people. It would be great to have options for the average person to support a local business without hurting themselves in the process.Also.. I really like their space and the people. Always super friendly and seem to be having fun.

We used to go to downpours all the time as our local coffee shop, but a few months ago they raised their prices hugely, and it’s no longer worth it. It’s no longer at all in line with other coffee shops in the area — I paid approx $7 for a small mocha, while it’s about $5 everywhere else in walking distance (and in Denver in general). From asking staff about it, it seems that the owners’ explanation is not being able to get staff and needing to raise prices, but the fact that everywhere else can pay their staff a living wage without outrageous prices makes me wonder why they consider it a customer responsibility to be able to pay well enough to retain their employees.

This place has great stuff, however their prices are exorbitant. Being a member of the community for a while now, I have witnessed the prices in Congress Park increase, but the quality has not changed. I know there is inflation, but nothing about their business model and pricing keeps me coming back to them instead of going down the street to French Press or the Market. I want to root for you, but 7$ for a medium latter or almost 5$ for a cup of black coffee is too much. They say I get a free- refill with it the high price, but often I get it to go. I just want one cup. This used to be my go-to, but I have changed. I wish at least the prices of black drip coffee would lower and I would return almost daily.

Don’t support this business. They fire people for unsubstantiated reasons , stretch what employees they do have too thin and I know someone currently trying to get wages that were unpaid…also not super impressed by the guy in the thin blue line hat (owner?)

Coffee was so delicious and staff was very friendly!

Great varieties of delicious coffee and service was good!

Would have given 6 stars if they bring back their ridiculously amazing bagels that put even Rosenbergs to shame... and I’m from NY saying that!!!!

Quaint coffee shop with a phenomenal breakfast burrito. The cold brew + oat milk are also great.

Great little corner coffee spot with awesome vibes and polite staff.

Used to be really good but lately the milk is always sour and nothing seems fresh
