Man, what an incredibly friendly and sweet staff they have here. I ordered take out but realized that the card my Apple Pay defaulted to had just expired. I called in and asked if they received the order and they were very helpful. When I went in to pick up my food, a different person helped me at the register. I double checked again that they had actually received payment. They walked me through their POS to show they had. I would have hated to walk out that door not having paid my meal ticket. On to the food! It was excellent. I had the spaghetti and meatball. The noodles were noticeably made fresh, the sauce was spicy and full of flavor, the giant meatball had been cooked to perfection. They really took a simple meal and classes it up. The portion was too much for me to finish. Well worth the price of the menu.I will definitely be returning. I’m glad to have a favorite Italian joint, finally.

DiFranco’s is always incredibly delicious- get their dipping oil! The reason I opted for the 3 stars is because I decided to add the “impossible meatball” to my spaghetti. The cost? $5.25. I knew that. I was expecting a larger portion of that or 2 meatballs, but there was only 1 meatball which claims to be “3 oz” but is much smaller. Attached is the picture.

What a delightful find! Intimate ambience, fresh food and of course delicious! I had the stuffed shells with meat sauce with a side of broccoli. The wine was a perfect pairing. I really enjoyed my meal and can't wait to return! No pizza here. Nice short walk from Sunken Gardens Park in the city!

I use to eat here weekly, but our office shut down two years ago because of the pandemic. I made the 45 minute drive last night, and it was just as good as I remembered. It was a quiet night so I enjoyed dine in, some wine, and Innocent on Netflix.

amazing fresh home cooked food.

Small unassuming spot. But then food DiFranco puts out is some of the best I have ever eaten. Pasta is fresh and delicious. Their seasonal dishes always hit the spot. Meatball sandwich is enough for lunch and dinner. But the real gem here is the bakery. Their lemon cookies are so good, I wanna curl up under the lemon curd and sleep on them.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Denver! The stuffed shells is my favorite! Highly recommend. Also, the Marc Maron looking employee is the nicest guy ever! Very helpful and great recommendations.

Greatly disappointed, nowhere near the quality and taste I remember. I was excited to return after moving away from Denver a few years ago. DiFranco's was a favorite neighborhood spot with incredibly delicious handmade pastas. Its still good, but not like it was. Our dishes lacked seasoning and weren't anything special to write home about. It made me wonder if DiFranco's is under new ownership or management in the last couple years. From other reviews it seems others still love it, so maybe it was just an unfortunate evening.

Good food but a bit pricey for what it is. Sauce is a little sweet for my liking but overall worth a check

It cost $24 for basic Fettuccine Alfredo and only filled the small container half full and the broccoli was under cooked with no flavor or seasonings and most of the broccoli is just the stem. I am very disappointed that this was soooo expensive for what tasted like premade store bought food. As an Italian this was pitiful.
