A wonderful place to stop on a tour of south Broadway, Dave’s has spice levels for all chicken enthusiasts. The reaper spice adds a little extra oil to the extra hot so the joy and pain last for those couple extra minutes.
It was our first time at Dave’s hot chicken and we absolutely LOVED the food & the service. The sliders were ?! We got the medium spice level sliders and mild tenders for the kids. Do try the honey sachets they have, with the chicken, they tasted reallllyyyy good! Parking might be a bit of an issue but not too bad. Nice location, ambience, service and food! But the best part of our experience at Dave’s was that they use HALAL meat which is a big deal for a lot of Muslims, like me. Can’t wait to visit next!
Dave's Hot Chicken. Where have you been all my life. The chicken is so crispy and juicy and perfectly seasoned. The hot is not too hot but definitely kicks at the end. And the Mac n cheese is perfect. The kale slaw is super bland but the pickles make up for it. Crunchy and thick
Thus is the best mild to super hot chicken I've had in a long.time. bye bye fast-food Daves come to town....Oh and so spice doesn't mean no flavor, that's good too if you can't take the heat...Happy Clucking
Food was fresh but fast to arrive. Staff was very polite. Portions were large and great value. Well executed and very tasty! Would recommend if in the area and looking for fair price and quality meal with quick service.
This was such an amazing experience. My husband and I shared the #3 combo. One chicken strip one slider. I love spicy he doesn’t. I ordered my chicken strip hot and he ordered his slider mild.First, let me say the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful.The food was fresh, hot and oh my delicious!!The chicken starts off sweet at first taste then you get the spice flavor come through. It was so delicious. And their pickles are amazing.This place is definitely worth a tryIt’s just a shame we don’t have one in Texas
Delicious food.I had the strawberry milkshake which was good.The chicken was juicy and comes with spicy sauce. The heat levels are confusing. I had "medium", yet it seemed "mild" to me: good nonetheless.I read a few complaints about their Mac & Cheese. If you're expecting the store boxed style with powdered cheese packet, you'll be disappointed. The cheese sauce is rich, creamy American cheese on thicker elbow macaroni than the box style.Good food and nice place for either dine-in or to-go
This places chicken sandwich is definitely worth a try! Me and my boyfriend get the 2 chicken slider meal, which are still basically full sandwiches!And the sauce is soooo good too. Definitely would recommend this as one of the best chicken sandwich places in Denver. The staff is always friendly, with speedy service. The menu is just a few options but all the things on there are definitely satisfying, even the shakes are great.
I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy chicken here! Right on Boardway, this establishment oozes style and a very cool atmosphere.The food was a bit pricey but one could never go wrong with this place. And plus, I love when menus are tiny for they offer a simple and enjoyable dining experienceWould come again!
