Was a decent place, once upon a time. What happened to this place? Your koobideh is dry and smells rancid. The barg is like stone. Probably my last visit.
Since ownership changed at the beginning of 2022, this place has completely changed and not for the better, it was our go to place for good Persian food, now everything is cooked at once and re-heated, and not very good. I predict they will be out of business by the end of the year, I recommend Surena Persian Cuisine on Arapahoe Road in Centennial.
No fuss and good middle eastern food! The meat was flavorful and tender!
Is this a joke? Called to place a to go order and the guy answering the phone was so rude and was angry with a lot of attitude. Arrived to pick up the order and no one is at the restaurant so we are the only one and the guy acted like we are bothering him. Picked up the ice cold order which was sitting on a table god knows for how long and the box was so light weight that I had to check to make sure there was food in there. The kabab had no flavor and chicken kabab the same both tasted like ready frozen food that you microwave at home. The food was so bad that we ended up feeding it to the dogs. We will never ever go back to this place.
I want to be kind and give this place a good review but I cannot. Iceberg salad very probably from a bag. food was almost surely microwaved, very probably from a pouch (I heard the microwave run twice, i assume once for the stew and once from the rice). Very little flavor and only 3-4 small chunks of beef in a beef dish. Very expensive for what it was.
Not sure what this food was but it surely is not Persian. Koobideh was dry and tasted strange, and the barg was like shoe leather. Shirazi salad was tired and stale. Not sure if we got re-heated meals and old food but I can clearly say I will never return. only good thing was the home made Dough.
Used to come weekly, this review dated 16th of May 2022, worst experience ever, been from 2016 till 2021 all good, staff changed and food was hilariously bad, low quantity not enough for 1 person!!! Got charged for tea pot for 5.99$ and no taste of tea at all.
The owners of this place changed . Previous owners sold it to someone else . Used to go here atleast once a week and I’m very disappointed at the quality of the food now . Just paid $60 for fries and koobedeh with bread and hummus. Everything tasted stale and seemed that it was warmed up in the microwave ! Save your money and go somewhere else . This is supposed to be a restaurant and it has fast food quality food with restaurant price
Quiet, no frills place with delicious food. Try the chicken soltani and koobideh. Baklava for dessert is also delicious. Service is gracious, portions are large, and the prices are good. We will be back!
I came with my wife from Las Vegas passing through Denver because they have good rating the food was excellent We will come back here again
