I don't think I would ever rate a restaurant in an airport, much like I wouldn't rate a McDonalds. But some things I wish I knew before going in. I'm going to ignore the fact that the staff doesn't like to smile (unless they're talking to themselves), or that I was ID'ed to order just a salad ("everyone must have a valid ID").The salad was great AFTER I learned the dressing was underneath the lettuce. After eating the first half, I stumbled upon the dressing and wished I had dug earlier! It really tasted good after that. Now for some bad.All the prices were wrong on the menu, and she didn't tell me til I got the check.I asked for a water to go, and she genuinely looked bothered. "Oh, I don't think we have any to go cups." (They literally have a sign out front that says, "Alcohol to go sold here.") "I can sell you a Fiji water for $3.50." LOL. "No, I just want a little water while I'm waiting for the flight." "Well, all we have our ones that say "alcohol" on them." "I don't care if it says alcohol," and she finally gave me one. "Well, I don't have any lids."The WIFI doesn't work in there! This was the worst part, because I was trying to work and everything was taking forever. I went to download an audio book and it said 2 hours remaining! I walked outside, literally right outside the doors, and it went from 2 hours to 50 seconds. It was completely downloaded before I even got back to the gate.I didn't give it 3 stars because the atmosphere is great and the salmon salad really was good AFTER I found the dressing. :)
Everthing is excellent at this little wine & food bar! Service was friendly & fast, food & wine also! It's the only really friendly place I found here at the Denver airport.Definitely recommend it to any travelers who want a friendly place to have a glass of wine & something tasty to eat!
Literally the star is for the beer and the beer alone. Worst service I had in Denver hands down ? if you like being scowled at and waiting a million years for the staff to do anything, this this will be your new fave. If you're smart though, you'll spend your hard earned money elsewhere....
Was slow to get a table even though there were plenty of spots available. Service was good once inside. Nice wine selection but overpriced as to be expected.
Needs help, wasn't clean, and food was not prepared well. Wine by the glass is overpriced. Half of the menu was about wine flights, but we were told they weren't doing flights.
Wonderful staff ****I was sitting a the bar for lunch really appreciate service. The food *** was good but nothing out of the ordinaryAmbiance *****A must at this airport!
They where short staffed. And the service was still good. I am a frequent flyer and expect high prices at an airport. But this container was my $16 Cesar salad. Chicken was dry, lettuce was drenched in dressing. Figure I could get a meal size salad for that price. Frustrating
Very upscale, normal quality wine overpriced by the glass. Well equipped with power for the road warriors. Nice set-up for group. My waiter was a real March Madness fan.
During a layover in Denver just a few days ago, I ordered the salmon salad with avocado and raspberry vinaigrette. It was delicious until my mouth began to bleed profusely from the sudden crunch of glass! I had already eaten a third of my life-threatening meal before I hurt myself. The assistant manager did apologize and offered to comp my meal. However, the ER visit afterwards confirmed the acid reflux and gi issues I've been enduring are due to this incident! DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE SUICIDAL! I just wanted a nice meal and a glass of wine, not repeat doctors appointments :(
We visited post dinner for the sets of three wine tastings (“flights”) which was a great way to compare tastes. The wall of wine was impressive and overall nice and sophisticated ambience. The only odd and incongruent item was a large screen tv above the door showing basketball.
