6 of us spent a wonderful dinner at Coperta. The food was fabulous, as advertised. We had the Monkfish and the grilled Bik Choy. The staff was helpful, warm and friendly. Not cheap but not crazy for what you get
Really lovely food, a delicious blend of flavors and textures and really a treat. I was quite surprised when they added a 23% service fee on to the end of the bill, without warning. I felt that was outrageous. I love supporting local businesses, and I'm sure it's tough doing business in these times, but I think you need to tell your customer that you're going to tack on 23% to their bill. We were a party of 3!!! Of course I expected that for larger groups but for 3?
I was going in with pretty high expectations. Still pleasantly surprised. Great deal and the quality is just beyond what I was expecting. I want to go back and soon. The lamb ravioli was my choice and couhave been happier.
Four Denverites ate at Coperta last weekend.Prior to going I looked at the menu. The most notable standout was the restaurant has decided to charge 23% service charge. The food was good. Not very good. Good. The dishes were reasonably priced for Denver. The issue I have is the service charge. To me in is outrageous. Our bill for four people. Three pasta dishes. Two salads and two appetizers. Two beers. Two glasses of wine.$325.00 -out of this , $75 was service. The service was adequate. Not great. Just adequate. As we were leaving, we asked if we could have eaten at the bar. The bar person said" we close in two minutes."The entire restaurant has the same attitude. It is all about them. It is not about the customer.Too bad!
The best experience and the best food? Daniel was so accommodating with our party for my husbands birthday and we will definitely be back. Every dish is authentic and the wine selection was amazing.I recommend ordering the hanger steak and the quail!
An amazing dining experience! The food and service were just absolutely stellar. The drink pictured is the Negroni Gialla- perfect if you want a nice sipping gin drink. We did this as a 4 course dinner with apps, first 2 small plates and a main plate to share ending with dessert.Meatball appetizer was perfect with the garlicky foccacia and perfectly seasoned meatball.Smaller plates were pasta-Mushroom and ricotta ravioli with rabbit which I highly recommend as it was creamy and full of complimentary flavors. The lamb and beef ragu with fresh pasts that just melts in your mouth.Main dish that we shared was the sausage stuffed quail with a delicious saba sauce and roasted grapes.Dessert was an Orange Saffron cake that was perfect. It had sweet and salty from saffron and salted nuts with a sweet creamy sauce.Great date night place and amazing southern Italian with excellent service.
Easily the best eggplant parm I have ever eaten! Staff were great and friendly during a busy Denver Restaurant Week/ Saturday date night crowd. Great wine recommendation for one bottle for a table of a variety of tastes, everyone loved it.
We made a 5:00 PM reservation on Friday night March 11th. When we walked in at 4:55 the manager came and SAID we aren’t ready and you have to leave. We will open right at 5:00 PM. No I apologize we aren’t quite ready yet would you mind sitting at bar for a few minutes. it was 25 degrees out so we left and cancelled our reservation. We really enjoyed eating here for restaurant week the year before Covid and we looking forward to eating here again. WE WON’T BE BACK
I love this place! The Wednesday night special is my favorite!
My favorite spot for quality food in Denver. Amazing atmosphere and perfect for date night. My go to is getting the small portions of the pastas, that way you can try a couple at a time.
