The ultra-friendly employees and owners are more than willing to customize the already huge variety of menu options. This is a very small, unassuming, happy looking, locally owned bakery and cafe with incredible options far beyond the croissant, or sweet baked good and sandwich, although those are done so well. There are also Saturday Brazilian options of meats w/rice and beans, panini's, freshly made deli sandwiches, also customizable, fresh loaves of bread, breakfast burritos with vegetarian or three other protein options. I work up the street and all these years thought this was *just* a bakery, and am just not a baked goods gal, but stopped in because they are still here after all these years and want to give them my business and check them out. I was curious! So glad I did. This is hands down one of the best options within easy distance of my studio. Their food is incredible, the service so friendly, made-to-order food fresh, oozing with flavor and quickly prepared. Do yourself the favor and them the respect of trying them out. You'll thank yourself and City Cafe and Bakery.

Wow. The Coxinha is absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to have more. What sweet people.Update. I picked up catering and wow, great food and pastries for my office. Thank you Santos for your wonderful food.

Kind staff, great food, reasonable prices!!! Definitely check them out!

Delicious Mediterranean Turkey Sandwich with chips and a cookie. The friendly chef prepped our lunch and served us well! Thanks and we’ll come again soon!

Quick friendly service. The sandwich I had was great and the bread was really fresh and tasty. Will definitely be going back

Visited today for lunch. We each ordered a meatloaf sandwich on grilled sour dough bread with a fantastic dipping sauce. We should have split one sandwich as they were so large we brought half a sandwich home. Sandwich was served with a bag of potato chips and a cookie. Good value for the money.

I work nearby and visit City Cafe almost weekly. These wonderful people always have a smile on their face and provide prompt service in a laid back environment. The food has never disappointed either – great breads and ingredients on the several sandwiches I’ve had, and always good soup options. I highly recommend the Mediterranean and the Cubans! The tea bread that they sell is also fantastic. I will continue to frequent this place and enjoy myself every time!

City Cafe is SO delicious! We came in Brazilian Saturday and it should not be missed! The fuijoada was amazing! The pork pieces in the bean were so tender and full of flavor. The pao de queijo (cheese bread) is a must have! I can easily see this restaurant becoming one of our favorites! The staff is also really welcoming and happy to make recommendations.

We came in on Saturday for the Brazilian lunch. We were not disappointed. The Feijoada(beef stew), Coxinha (fried pastry with chicken inside), and Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) were AMAZING!! Our daughter loved to tomatoe soup, she is a picky eater ?. Please come down and enjoy the food. Plenty of parking for a downtown restaurant. ????yes two thumbs way up!!

Good food and friendly service. I eat here often and pick up treats for my potlucks. Come early for lunch there is a rush and it slows down the ordering process. If they mess up your order they will fix it or compensate you. I would have more pictures but I'm usually hungry and forget to take pictures.I recommend the make your own omelet, tomato soup, cream of cauliflower soup, French dip sandwich, purist sandwich, coffee cake all variations, brownies, chocolate croissant, chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal raisin cookie, and oreos. I don't eat nuts often but I did try the peanut butter and it's one of the best I've tasted. The hot sauce is made in house and has some heat. I hope this review was hopeful. Until next time.
