Came into the store for lunch after having had their takeout previously, Great chicken dishes. Had the chicken BLT with Mac and cheese. Both were delicious and came out fast. They also have a Barr with beer, wine and cocktails. I will certainly be returning. Staff is friendly.
Chook offers some really awesome chicken. The flavors are delicious and the meat is always tender and moist. Besides are all really good and I especially like the cucumber salad. The quality of the food used is good and I always feel like this is a healthy meal after I've eaten, unlike some other places where you would grab a quick meal.The service is always fast and friendly and every meal has been consistent for the years that we have been going there.
For the price it is not bad. The Mac and cheese needs flavor. The chicken is good the only thing no military discount.
Ever since I discovered this place , I have been hooked. I have been to the other pearl street location and the quality/quantity has been consistent.The chicken feels so fresh and wholesome, delicious in every bite.Plus the sauces accompanied are not overpowering but rather complimentary to the main dish.One thing I did notice was that it's Australian inspired.Will definitely visit again
This Australian style restaurant was a pretty good place and a pretty good price. You order at the counter and they bring you your food table side.I ordered the “for you” chicken combo with dark meat, mashed potatoes and gravy, and big A’s bbq. The only complaint I have here is they give you a huge bowl of potatoes and a tiny little side of gravy. The ratio was far off on that one.I did also order the chook wedges with the piri piri sauce and was not disappointed there. They paired really well together. Will definitely be returning to try a few other interests on the menu.
I recently had Chook cater dinner for a group of 10. Communication was great, food was delicious, and they even braved a snow storm to come set the meal up for us. 100% recommend adding on the cookies as well.
Amazing chicken. Summer yummy sauces, each one distinct, though the meat itself doesn’t even need it! Roasted root veg and the salad with beets were also excellent. Already planning to come back later this week!
The Chicken BLAT is the most flavorful sandwich I have had in a long time. I didn’t want it to end. I feel like a Groupon for this place now.This place also has the best atmosphere. Bright and spacious with great little plants everywhere.Keep up the delicious work!!
Never bad - always good, sometimes exceptional and sometimes perfect. Maybe they have different sous-chefs on different days. Today I regret my purchase but generally a really good chicky shop if you grew up on rotisserie chicken restaurants as your go-to
This place is my new favorite! Easy to get a table but don’t let that make you think it’s not popular. To-go orders being churned out every minute. But the staff!
