Came here around 9pm for a few drinks and got an appetizer as well. I got the Charlie Brown Sampler; everything is fried, and totally delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. For my drink I ordered a whiskey cranberry, a little on the weak side.The ambiance inside is phenomenal, my favorite part of my visit easily. The bar tender was prompt and friendly. There was a good group of people surrounding the piano, playing and singing some classic tunes, having a great time. I will definitely be going back!
Took fam in on Sat 4 lunch. Wow. You can taste the batter on the fish-and-chips because it's crispy homemade and not over saturated with oil! You can have breakfast for lunch and the Denver omelet was to die for I had a couple bites :) The biscuits and gravy was like amazing and it should be available all the time period. good on this place please patronize folks!

Wandered in here from Milk Bar with two friends since we really wanted to sing out some songs. We unfortunately missed piano man and there were to be no repeats, but our hot toddies were excellent and the atmosphere was great as well.
We went on a Saturday night around 9pm. It was a packed and lively crowd. Service was great. The food... Not so much. The steak was a little tough and I was expecting a side of veggies and got 2 asparagus. The garlic mashed was underwhelming for a $35 steak. We also ordered a medium burger came out well done so we had to send it back. All in all the vibe was good but I wouldn't go back to eat but for the atmosphere.
Love the salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies, and the Mediterranean chicken dish!!Ambience can be a little noisy (as advertised) but service is always great and if not in the mood for piano bar, getting take out is a huge success!The bread is also fantastic
Charlie's is hands down the best keep secret in Denver! If you want it more than likely they'll have it! The food is consistently great every time I order. Love it. Period.
Can't love this place more. So nostalgic to the good old days when service was always great and food was what was expected. We will be back a lot. The only thing is, if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, you may not love it there. There's a faint smell and patrons on the porch can smoke.
Not impressed with the service, unfortunately. Live close to this piano bar and the waiter was extremely rude from the moment we sat down. Happy to have given this establishment a chance but will not be returning.
Always love going when someone is playing! Great place and you just never know who will walk in. Everyone has a blast! Great people watching too.
