Came in with 72hrs notice to place a cake order in person for a simple vanilla 4 inch one person cake and was told they couldn’t accommodate my order. Made a special trip just to place the order. They shouldn’t say on their website that they can accommodate most orders with 72hrs notice if they can’t accept a very simple order within that time frame.

Great artwork, terrible cake.Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviews I’m reading. I ordered 2 cakes, one for my son and one 10 days later for my daughter. Both times the cake was still frozen 3 hours after we picked it up, and both times it was dry and too sweet. After spending 70 bucks and then 100 bucks for beautiful art on the cakes, we were sadly disappointed in the taste and texture. Frozen cake is about as good as thawed out frozen beef; disgusting.

The quiche is always a good choice. Veggie or meat.

I like coming here on the weekend for a latte and cinnamon roll which are absolutely amazing and by far the best in Denver. They are large enough to share but good enough not to! Quiche is also on point. Cute atmosphere and nice patio.

Ordered birthday cake for my mother's birthday. The cake looked great!!!I picked up the cake at 11am with plans to serve at noon. Was told it would need to sit out for 2 hours before serving. I was unaware of that so I served a very chilled cake for people to take home. Luckily I also picked up a lemon cupcake for mother to blow out her candles on and eat at that time.I ate a piece around 2pm was disappointed in the flavor. The lemon was the only flavor noticable no lavender or vanilla flavor.  The bottom of the cake had some very hard crunchy area. My guest and I talked over the weekend and they also at their cake later in the day. They also had a crunchy, hard bottom. I was most embarrassed. The lemon filling I was expecting to be in the middle of each layer but it was like glob of it toward the edge not in the center spread out.Very disappointed.

Went in for a red velvet cake, all they had was a decorated one, I thought it would be fine, but the cake was old, it seemed like someone had ordered a designed cake but didnt pick it up, so they left it there, the cake was dry and stale, and the frosting was starting to crack, not fresh at all

Ordered some expensive cupcakes from someone else and did not like them at all. I made a last minute decision to get cupcakes and a cake from this bakery and spent less than I did on the original cupcakes AND they were so much better!! The birthday kiddo loved her cake and her classmates loved the cupcakes. I got to steal a few bites and they were perfect. Not too sweet and not a ridiculous amount of frosting. Thank you for saving the day and can't wait to try more items!

Ordered a birthday cake. Top ratings for presentation and customer service. Placed the order online, got a call back right away. Cake was ready on time, people at the store were super nice. Cake looked beautiful! The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the cake was slightly dry, but that's me being picky!

I ordered a minecraft themed birthday cake for my 7 year old daughter and we were extremely disappointed. The cake was just dry, tasteless and frosting/filling was way too sweet ( even for the kids). I let them know that the cake was dry and they said I needed to eat it at room temperature, which I did and IT'S STILL DRY!! we're so disappointed and felt cheated out of having a delicious cake to celebrate such a special day. Not only that but the decorations I asked for were unrecognizable.

Can’t go wrong —coffee and tea choices, cafe favorites and perfect pastries. A Park Hill 2nd home to many. Always buzzing.
