Hands down the best Burbon chicken place within 50 miles of Denver. This is my second time and after blowing my mind the first time I was amazed to have them do it again. Great portion sizes (I cannot emphasize this enough), great price point, and great flavors. You can't ask for more. Don't let the outside appearance trick you, go in! Trust me.
Bourbon grill is located at 571 E Colfax after a number of years at Franklin and Colfax. This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. I spent a number of years in Tennessee and this place reminds me of places there- a meat and sides. You have a choice of the original bourbon grilled chicken, blackened chicken, bbq chicken and blackened fish - all of these items are delicious and you really can’t go wrong with any choice. You have many side choices. The meat is served on a bed of rice- and 2 choices of - Spicy Cajun potatoes- fries- Mac and cheese- spicy noodles- steamed cabbage and other items. I don’t think that I’ve had a bad meal out of 50 visits. Some have been better than others, but none that were bad. If you are in the area stop by and see these great people and wonderful restaurant.
BEST bourbon chicken in Denver!! I used to frequent this spot when it was near Franklin and Colfax, I thought it had closed and was so sad. I drove past the new location on Pearl and Colfax a couple of weeks ago and nearly broke my neck when I saw the sign. If you're a BBQ chicken or mac & cheese lover, go here now. I can't say enough good things, this food brings me back and I was nearly brought to tears when the steamed rice and sauce hit my mouth. My taste buds were dancing!
That chicken was delicious! So were the mac&cheese and spicy noodles. Tons of food - great value
My fiancée and I visited from Canada and stumbled upon Bourbon Grill one day. I had the bourbon chicken combo plate with potatoes, rice and corn. The food and service was fantastic! It was the best bourbon chicken I've ever had. My fiancée had mac and cheese, which she said was the best she's ever had. Definitely recommend Bourbon Grill if you're visiting Denver.
Came here for lunch and order the Bourbon Chicken Combo with the two sides being Mac N Cheese and the Cajun Potatoes. I also decided to eat indoors for this meal. It came out to around $18 with tip since I decided to eat there.Lets start off with service. Even though there was a long line, the worker was extremely helpful and attentive and the transaction for my order was quick. When we received our food, we were so surprised because the portions were huge and was able to be shared with two people. The chicken was sweet and delicious and was like BBQ sauce chicken but with more flavor and was a bit sweeter. It was to die for. The Mac N Cheese and Potatoes were also both delicious. It was also served with rice which was a great combination with the sauce the chicken provided. We were able to still take our food home because the portions were that big.If you're dining indoors, the dining room is a big small and cramped, but there are seats towards the restrooms for those not too comfortable with sitting near people just yet.
Had the bourbon chicken, steamed rice, steamed green beans, and potatoes. All very excellent. It's a huge amount of food, so we shared. If you can't take it with you I would highly recommend this. Totally enough food for 2 people. Otherwise, plan to get 2 meals out of it. We ate in. Basic, no frills place. Great for a place to stop before you go out to a concert or bar for the night.
I would give this place 5 stars because the food is always so good, it's worth going out of the way for, only complaint I do have is, if you want your food to be ready and not have to wait FOREVER for food just to be placed in a container, order online, not only will it be faster service, they'll packed your combination go-box with as much food as it can carry, if you haven't tried the bourbon chicken yet, you won't regret it. This is my family's go-to stop for occasional weekends

Possibly the best chicken around, especially if you ask for extra sauce. The potatoes are out of this world. Spaghetti and mac&cheese are both delicious. Just can't go wrong here.
