My favorite ice cream place in Denver. Many different flavors to choose from and they are all made in house. Plenty of seating to enjoy your ice cream. The young adults who work there are very courteous and quick to service the guests. Never have had a bad experience there.
I lived in West Wash Park 30 years ago and fell in love with Bonnie Brae Ice Cream--and after many return trips over the years, including with my family this past two weeks on a visit to Denver--I have to say that it's gotten even better! Housemade flavors, all rich and creamy, and a welcoming atmosphere to boot! I'd rate this place up there with Sebastian Joe's in Mpls for best ice cream shops I've ever tried. Don't hesitate, remember that you can't turn left onto Ohio (side street) from University (main drag) so you'll have to figure out parking but get yourself to BB Ice Cream and try it for yourself!
A classic ice cream shop in Bonnie Brae. They have a lot of flavors to choose from including a couple vegan/non-dairy and sorbets. It's still got the classic diner/ice cream parlor look. When we went on a Tuesday night the line was way out the door so be a bit patient. But the line moves quickly and it was worth the wait.
i love this place so much! the ice cream is so good and i go there so much! i cannot stop going, it’s addictive. the cupcake is so good! excited to go there again next time! ??(btw this is cupcake flavor with rainbow sprinkles, star sprinkles and a sugar cone! <- highly recommend!
Iconic local place. Great ice cream. Many families. Consistent and scrumptious.
The scoops are HUGE and inexpensive but the flavor is a bit off in every one of the six flavors we got (and unless they actually put cinnamon in carmel apple, one was entirely wrong but not worth a wait in the looooooooooooong line to rectify). The ice cream is very rich and creamy and both of us felt a bit off later in the evening, probably bc we tried so much of it. Not a bad place but not one that we're going to go out of our way to go to again.
We got there on a Thursday night and the line was already long, so we knew it must be good! Not only was the ice cream INCREDIBLE but the staff was so friendly! All of them seemed to love their jobs and made for such a great customer service experience :) 12/10 recommend you go here and support them! Reese cup was divine ! My husband had peppermint and loved it. I don't think you can go wrong with the long list of amazing sounding flavors! They actually encouraged taste testing like they didn't mind and it didn't bother them <3
Delicious ice cream and sorbet! I had the peach sorbet which had delightful small chunks of peach throughout ? My friend had Oreo which had huge chunks of Oreo and got a lot of praise. My only complaint was they still aren’t letting people go inside so that was a bummer, it was chilly out and the chairs were all stacked away too. Will definitely go back in summer!
When we drove up, there was a line for ice cream. This has to be good, right? Well…. It was fantastic. Not just good. All of the ice cream is made on the premises. It’s creamy and not overly sweet. I had the Bordeaux Cherry with chocolate sprinkles. That’s another thing that’s great about this place - chocolate sprinkles. There are floats, sundaes and other delicious treats. Flavors change every day. Servings are generous. There are a few tables outside - all orders are from a walk up window. Go, stand in line, you’ll be glad you did.
Had an amazing cone with Black Forest ice cream! Yummy!
