First time at Blanco after trying the neighboring Culinary Dropout. We walked up and smelled what could only be a sewage, perhaps from storm drains or the dog park next door. Needless to say, if you eat on the patio like we did, it affects the ambiance quite a bit. The food was solid, we had queso, fajitas, and an asada burrito. All tasty with good sides. The drinks were a disappointment, itâs rare that I canât finish a margarita but these were not good, too sour and not enough sweet to balance it out. Tasted more like a lime aid. I then tried a frozen to see if that was better, but it was the same flavor profile. Going to just have beer or tequila next time. If the smell gets cleaned up and I avoid a margarita next time, this is probably a 4.5 stars.

The food, drinks and vibe were great! Robbie was our server and his outstanding customer service and friendliness will have us returning again and again!
Food was o.k. Guac was a standout. Our server was also terrific and helpful. But what's with not heating (or grilling or frying) the tortillas which were not fresh when serving tacos. The corn tortillas crumbled entirely, firm and pretty tasteless. Outdoor patio and dog park is a lovely setting though

The ambiance was nice but our server/bartender acted like he could care less if we had a good experience. We had to ask several staff if we could get more water, small plates for our apps, we cleared our own table. I would understand if he was busy but when I see him and other staff just hanging out at end of bar while we are taking care of ourselves itâs a bit frustrating. I have worked a long time in the service industry and it was really sub par in terms of service.

Really like the decor of the place and lots of bar seating and outdoor seating. very inviting. We started with the warm queso, which was not warm at all. We had the short rib enchiladas and carne asada enchiladas - it comes with caramelized onions and charred scallion relish that were barely noticeable. good margs! Several items on the menu sounded good so we'll be back to try them.
