This is a one star review because we didn’t even get to eat. We tried going there for Monday all night happy hour, which is a great deal. Upon arrival, I noticed that staff was flustered even though it wasn’t too busy, but didn’t think much about it. We got a table for two and it took about 5-10 minutes for us to get waters. A server shortly came over and took our order - she was flustered and short, but we shrugged it off. We waited… and waited… and waited for 40 minutes with no food before deciding to leave, since we were really getting hungry. There was 1 host, 2 servers, 1 bartender, and apparently only 1 chef in the kitchen. I’m writing this review so the owners better understand what is happening when not enough people are put on the schedule for a happy hour night special. I feel bad for the staff who are so flustered and stressed out when it wasn’t super busy but they were just trying to keep customers happy. I hope that they can find more staff to help with this problem and that at future visits, we actually get to eat.

We had a small gathering at Blackbird on Friday and everything ran very smoothly. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing! I have been travelling in the US for three weeks, 1/2 the family is gluten free. This was hands down the best gluten free pizza we have enjoyed during our US travels. Actually it was the best gluten free pizza we have every experienced. Thank you black bird public house!

I have been coming here since the pandemic and have had the friendliest service, the most welcoming energy, and the most delicious food. It is always a pleasure to come in and enjoy bottomless mimosas, or a quiet breakfast for two. Our favorite bartender Scott, has been one of the main reasons I return every Sunday! Blackbird is such a lovely staple breakfast/lunch establishment that offers an easy going and enjoyable environment that will bring me back time and time again!

After a movie we stopped in for a drink and something light. Had the crispy grilled Brussels on the app menu and an SB. Good pairing. Scott was our very likable bartender/server. We'll be back for more, including west coast oysters for only a buck and a half during happy hour.

Very short staffed… left right after the appetizer to have dinner elsewhere. They have happy hour all day on Monday and every other day from 3-6pm. Their happy hour has great deals. Like $25 for a bottle of wine and pizza. $5 1/2lb of mussels. $5 wine. Visited on a Monday, and they only had two staff members working… on a day with all day happy hour. Ordered the muscles in white wine sauce which were excellent. Unfortunately our waiter was extremely busy serving all of the restaurant. He was working very hard and was very polite in the moment we did get to see him. He took our drink and appetizer order. A runner served it to us and we didn’t get checked on for the rest of our stay (an hour +). Finished our appetizer with no silverware or napkins, no other drink orders, and no service. Couldn’t get anyone to come over. Finally stopped someone to give them our card to pay and leave. This place would be great if they weren’t so short staffed/scheduled better.

Great job Garrett!!! Food is great, staff is great, Fun and friendly place.

We really enjoyed our first experience here. The brussel sprouts and pizza were fabulous. For drinks, I told the awesome bartender what alcohol I liked, and he came up with one of the best drinks we’ve ever had. My husband even asked for the recipe. We honestly loved that the staff wasn’t wearing masks. We will be back especially for that reason alone. The mask order - not law - is beyond useless, and a reason we frequent other counties more. It’s so refreshing to dine where logic not fear abounds. And for those other reviewers that need people around them to be masked, they should really just stay home.

I love this restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. I especially love the Buddha Bowl. Garrett, the owner is especially accommodating. If you are looking for a venue for a small special event there is a wonderful private room for private parties. I hosted my book launch here and it was perfect.

First of all, how cute is this place?!?I went there for a networking lunch this week, ordered the Buddha bowl which was AMAZING, and enjoyed a level of service that is great to see these days. The owner was there, he checked on us a couple of times, they were very accommodating to the groups needs and just an amazing little place. I came home and told my husband we needed to go back for a date night soon!

The new bartender (female) was so rude to us! She snapped at many occasions. Never offered us water or menu. Nor did we dare ask!!! Bad customer service. Thankfully the gentleman who delivered our pie was thoughtful and full of sweetness. I would say goodbye to this angry bird!! On a positive note, I enjoy the pizza!!
