"Southern" overcooked last time, SPICY!* This time the "Deluxe" was perfectly crispy fried chicky, with BLT, (lots-o- lettuce) & jack cheese. Yum! ???Sampled their signature "Birdcall sauce". Do I detect a hint of dill pickle juice!? Fun?? Good stuff, all around.FYI, not for drive-thru, but they serve liquor drinks inside, with Happy Hour, M-F 2-6pm. ?
3 to 4 stars. Not bad, but almost trying too much. Technology greets you and I watched a couple people order and struggle with it. Couple people at the bar at noon on Wednesday, no food just drinks. Guy after me had an IPA. Walking out saw area for sitting rather than eating and the dog water dishes. The food was good, flavorful and well put together. Came fast. Nothing worldly, but more creative than Chic-fil-a. Someone will find something on the menu they like I am sure. My fries were cold, but if warm I bet they would be good. Ketchup container dispenser had some caked on old ketchup, no lids for the homemade tea and lemonade, so couldn't take it with me. If they don't address some of the regular restaurant issues, they might find their target audience smaller and smaller.
Birdcall is a good spot to grab chicken. We stopped here after church and grabbed some Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and buffalo chicken salads. GREAT food! Service is fast and you can dine indoor/outdoors. The fries are extra.
I Love their Version of Chick Fil La... Everything I have had is Amazing!! ?? The Rancher is incredible, the Tater Tots are Seasoned perfectly & You must Try the Nashville Hot (Extra Hot ?) They also have a Great Variety if Artisan Drinks ?
Soooooo.... This review is, let's just say pretty late. My wife and I stopped by Birdcall when they were having their friends and family soft open. Not knowing that it was for friends and family. Despite us perfectly willing to pay for our meals since we weren't a friend or family. They still comped our meals.The service was great. Even though it was their soft open and all the staff were getting used to the new systems and everything that comes with opening. The food was even better. I got the Deluxe sandwich with totes and my wife got the tofu sandwich. My wife doesn't like tofu, but figured to give it a shot since she doesn't eat chicken and both her and I actually really enjoyed the tofu. It was cooked great and seasoned well enough that even as the avid carnivore that I am. Wouldn't mind eating a tofu sandwich from here whenever I feel less blood thirsty. lolAs this is the closest location to where we live we semi-regularly come back for the great food and awesome service.
I am so glad Birdcall opened this location. I use the curbside delivery once a week! The menu has enough variety that no one in our family gets bored or tired of choices - you can make everything on the menu just the way you'd like. My favorite is the Chop Salad - usually I divide it in half for lunch the next day. The shakes are delicious, the adult drinks are a fun treat as well.
Grabbed an Extra Hot Nashville Chicken sandwich. It was delicious! I’m a big fan of heat and didn’t think it was anything too hot though. Nevertheless, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading on there was phenomenal. I also appreciated the sandwich itself being relatively affordable ($8.16), which is good compared to a lesser quality fast food option. What I most enjoyed of the my visit to Birdcall was discovering the interior being super fun and pleasant to sit in. Ive actually been looking for a new spot to do work and noticed that many of the booths and tables have local outlets. The place is also open til 10pm so I’ll hav to see what the nightlife is like, but with food and shakes onsite, as well as a coffee shop just outside in the same shopping center, I’m going to definitely check out Birdcall again for some chicken and chill vibes. Really nice guys customer service is over the top a whole different feel. You can tell they love what they do.I love how they transformed a little fast food joint and do a friendly Cafe.Very well organized even their outgoing orders are organized into little cubbies.If you love chicken it's a go-to place
I ordered online through the website. It said my food would be ready in 10-15min. I recieved a message that my food was ready 2min after I ordered.I backed out of the website to the maps page and pressed start for the GPS directions.15min later... I'm at a completely different restaurant?I'm not from here, so I rely on the GPS to know where I'm going.I went back and entered the address directly into Google maps and I was 15min away from the restaurant.So I had to drive another 15min to get my food. Of course my food had been ready the entire time. Fast turn around is great for drive through, but not always for pickup.My shake had devolved to sugar water... the salad was still exceptional! Terrible salad dressing though. ? It wasn't sweet as described... it tasted like Ginger & Soy Sauce. Very very salty. With alternate dressing it was perfect though.I'm not sure why the website would back out and send you to a completely unrelated restaurant, but the was my experience.The servers were wonderful, the restaurant itself was really nice and the salad I ordered was still really great. I just personally had a frustrating experience finding the restaurant. I'll eat again... I'll just order when I arrive next time!
If you like chicken and sauces then give this place a try! We got the rancher sandwich, chicken strips, fries, and a variety of sauces to try. Chicken is nice and juicy. The staff are friendly and helpful. You order at the screens and then watch for your order to pull up on the tv with the count down timer. Tasty and next time I want to try the milkshake!
