Nashville hot chicken sandwich is all I can attest to.. and it was tasty af!Surprisingly better than other restaurants that market the nash hot. They have fries, sweet potato fries, truffle fries. If it's legal, I shall ask for sweet potato truffle fries next time.
This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Denver! While their menu isn't massive, they've got a good selection of fan favorites. I personally love the breakfast burrito and I love how large to portion of food you get is. A lot of brunch places in Denver feel overpriced, but this place doesn't! I would say the coffee could be better, but honestly most breakfast joints don't have the best coffee so it's not a huge issue for me.
Relaxing, warm, friendly atmosphere, great service, delicious food!! We pretty much stuck to the appetizer menu. Recommend the Brussel sprouts(best I’ve ever had), teriyaki bites (truffle French fries!!), and Mac n cheese. Daughter enjoyed the bird Caesar salad with fried chicken. Dessert apple crisp. OMGosh! Warm with ice cream and whipped cream! Sat at the bar and had enjoyable dinner. Will return next time in Denver!
My girlfriend and I went to dinner here last night. We randomly selected a new restaurant to us in Denver. My two stars are based solely on the food and shouldn't take away from how wonderful our host/waiter was. He deserves much praise. My girlfriend ordered the half fried chicken plate and I had the chicken and waffles. Her review backed by mine was the best thing on her plate was the Texas toast. Her chicken was dry but not as dry as the mashed potatoes. My chicken was clearly dropped in first and forgot abouts as the skin was black and cooked in grease that tasted and looked like it hasn't been changed in awhile. The waffles were delicious however. You can find quality elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend Bird.
Took my mom here for her birthday. I decided on this place because it's cute and figured pearl Street is always nice for a little local shopping as well. We shared the mac and cheese.... SO DELICIOUS. and had the grilled cheese with the tomatoe soup. So so good. The place is busy so plan on waiting. The staff is friendly and hustling. We will be back.
Nice ambiance and friendly wait staff. I ordered their fried chicken which definitely came out overcooked. It was ok, but could have been so much better with a little more attention in the kitchen. On the plus side, we had the Brussels sprouts appetizer which was great. So, overall, a slightly mixed bag for the evening.
We ordered the teriyaki bites, meatloaf, and duck. ???The truffle fries used way too much truffle oil (date and I took one bite and gagged). Meatloaf was reminiscent of cafeteria food or TV dinners (tasted like it had been frozen and had the fake grill marks). The mashed potatoes tasted like they had come from a box. Fingerling potatoes were cut thin, fried, and way over seasoned, turning them into potato chips. Asparagus was the thickest I've ever seen served at a restaurant. We didn't finish a single dish. The table next to us also sent food back. Would not recommend this place. Will not go back.
We stopped in unexpectedly for happy hour this weekend. The Moscow mules were perfect as were all the bites we tried: trio sliders, mac & cheese, and pretzel bites. For two people, we were absolutely stuffed. We plan to go back for lunch or dinner soon.
Such a great place with incredible food. The patio area is delightful as is the staff. I highly recommend It!
What a lovely, cozy restaurant on Platt Park! The aesthetic is perfect, and food was quite good.If you're looking for a clean brunch place that will surely impress your inlaws, I would highly recommend the Bird!
