It was very very salty and the sauce is a bit too sweet. Could be good if it was balanced well. It looked so much like pizza I grew up on in castle hill buuuuut only in looks.
Went there with my husband and son. Waited for a bit before we even got to order. No problem, downtown Saturday night. One couple ordering, one woman behind them, then us. Pretty small, we waited in entrance cubby. Gal in front of us finally picked up her food, probably not hot, as she had been waiting awhile. Finally our turn to order, knots, lg pizza, 2l soda. Told us it would be 20 mins, cool, no prob. He turns around, we turn around and head out to wait. Come back and we're told because we didn't pay at the time of order they didn't make our food. Like what?! The kid didn't ask for payment, didn't say hold on and let me get you total nothing!! And lied and told us "you should know how the system worked! I literally just did three transactions in front of you!!" Um not!!! We saw one couple ordering, we were in doorway not paying attention, and gal in front of us only had pick-up, already paid. We saw no transactions! Although they did offer to make a sweet while they remake our food, but acting like it was our fault was enough for us to find somewhere else! Horrible customer service.
Ordered the ceasar salad (12$) and a sausage calzone. The salad was miniscule, absolutely unnacceptable portion for 12$. 0 effort as it was literally just lettuce and dressing. Huge scam. The calzone was disgusting, I've had better food at 711.Shame on whoever made this food. Horrible experience. The ceasar dressing tasted like honey mustard....Also, for those people saying this tastes like NY pizza, you are either crazy or a paid actor.
I love Benny Blancos! It's by far one of my favorite Denver pizza spots. They have lots of other options on their menu too to check out. Definitely try Benny's and you'll be hooked!
I'm from New York and the pizza here is pretty decent not gonna lie. I love there lunch special. 2 slices with a soda and 2 toppings for $7. YOU CANT BEAT THAT. and the staff is awesome too

This isn’t it. Not crispy at all. If we weren’t absolutely starving it wouldn’t be going in our mouths. Sorry guys. Garlic knots were fine tho. We are from New York so probably snobs.
Best pizza in Denver. Take it from me, a real New Yawker.I calls these guys up, and I says "ey you little goombas, I'll take a large Italian special pie with extra capricola and double spaghetti. Hold the prosciute, I'm watching my cholesterol, you know what I'm saying?"So they says to, me, "Double spaghetti ? Do you want that on top of the sausage and peppers?"And then I says "You put spaghetti on top of my sausage and peppers and my poor mudder will be spinnin in her grave, god rest her soul. Do I have to spell it out for yous guys: Dough, pastrami, marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, spaghetti, ricotta, spaghetti, capricola, linguini, sausage, peppers."And they says "cannolis on the side?"And I swear I could hear my dear mudder weeping up in heaven, god rest her soul. Cannolis on the side?! So much for this being a real New Yawker joint. But ya know what? They cannolis weren't half bad on the side. A little marinara and they went down ok.5 stars. Just don't tell my dear sweet mudder in heaven.
Nye pizza took two hours to get to door that isn't the problem. Problem is a got a 2L and a 3 topping pizza order in. Received no 2L soda and a only 2 toppings. Was placed on hold 3 times on Nye and no one ever got back to me. Was told I would be refunded for no soda by driver. Never refunded called store and was told to call back. Reached out about issues on social media page and companies email. Never got a response. Not getting my business again.
