The food is genuine middle eastern, only made in America. Good quality and generous portions. The staff are friendly and nice. I stopped in here 15 minutes before closing time and they were gracious and accommodating. The interior decor is designed to make you feel like you are eating in a café in Beirut from back in the days when that was a nice place to go. Cheers to you all.
Had an excellent meal here. I would say it was very authentic, however never been to Beirut so…. Highly recommend.
We went to this restaurant because it was across the street from our hotel. We went there at 8 pm, and the waiters kept asking us if we were ready to order every 10 sec. My wife liked her food, but my chicken was burned, and the bread was old. The rice was good, though. Maybe I won’t go back again.
Had the Lamb Chops and a side of hummus for dinner tonight. The hummus was the best I’ve had in Colorado. The Lamb Chops we’re seasoned to perfection and side of garlic paste elevated this dish to the next level. Highly recommend! This is now my favorite Mediterranean place in Colorado!
I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since I saw it a few months ago passing through downtown. Well, I finally did yesterday with my Floridian sister who was visiting Colorado on a business trip. We ordered humus for an appetizer. It was creamier than we know but it tasted delicious. We also ordered the kafta and shawarma sandwiches. We split half half so we can try both. My sister didn’t like either because of the yogurt sauce. She never liked yogurt. As for me, they were okay. The meat was a little dry, not juicy, but tasted fine. The fries were over cooked. As for the atmosphere, he played Arabic the last minute so we didn’t get to enjoy that. Why the five rating? Well, the cook was very nice. They were clean and food came on time. He greeted us and acknowledged us as we were leaving, seemingly thankful for our business. So in the end, I determined this restaurant needs another visit before we determine it’s anything less than a five.
I think this place is closed now. I came here around 1pm and all the lights were off and there was a giant piece of styrofoam at the front door. I can't find a lamb and beef shawarma plate anywhere else close by
Food was good. But the place looks old and dilapidated. Some fresh paint. And a good cleaning.Wish I could give you a better rating.
The BEST restaurant in downtown Denver. For sure to go eat at this place. Very nice people, very polite. Amazing food. Beautifully presented. Large portion as well. Had appetizer sampler, Beirt platter, yogurt drink, and baklava. They were all so good. We didn't leave anything behind and ate it all clean. I'm for sure coming back when I come to Denver.
Ordered Humus and Beef Kebabs and they were both fresh and delicious. Ordered while staying across the street at Home2. Will definitely be back.
Our meal began with fresh hot Pita and hummus for each of us. Drinks- we had Strawberry banana milk-(like a nice smoothie), mint tea, and Arabic coffee was a nice presentation. Apps we enjoyed included specially spiced (not overly spicy) Beef sambusa, lentil soup (flavor reminded me of my favorite parts of a good split pea and ham) and babaganoush (pureed eggplant). Entrees Lamb and Beef Shawarma was good, nice plate with rice and salad. Chicken shawarma hummus was excellent-(one at our table said best hummus he had in years), chicken kebobs may have been the favorite. All was nicely seasoned special, fresh and tasty. We all enjoyed it and will return. Would recommend to all, excellent value and service. Love the Beirut Grill!!
