We stopped for a beer at Our Mutual Friend next door and got food here to eat at the brewery. The moist brisket was outstanding!
Great food! Only togo for now and don’t expect to eat it next door at Our Mutual Friends Brewing they obviously don’t like each other because I was told to go somewhere else with Owlbears food!
TASTY! My husband loved the brisket. My favorite was the pulled pork. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The homemade sausages sound delicious. We can't wait to they them when we return to Denver.
Best brisket in town. Best brisket in town.
The only BBQ I've found worth eating in CO. This place fills the void of missing TX BBQ. Really awesome food, merch and music. Try the Beef Rib if you can.
I have tried most of the menu and can say that it is a good, quality BBQ. You just have to get there before they run out. Also the parking situation is pretty bad. But...this review is about the BBQ and the BBQ is delicious. Check it out, it's worth it.
This was my second visit to this place, this time I was more prepared and liked the food better. I got lean brisket with burnt ends too, both terrific. I also split a decent mac and cheese and some beans. The meat was just tops. Service was friendly, and efficient. We went later in the day so the place was pretty empty and most of the main meats were sold out. Well worth seeking out, a great addition to the LoDo/RiNo food scene.
Not your average barbecue restaurant. I was expecting the typical bbq I’ve had in Colorado. This place is off the hook, way above the normal bbq The meats were incredibly seasoned and perfectly cooked. They only use quality products and the sides are unique and just as good. The staff is friendly and helpful, I live close by and will be here often.
Ok, so my husband went in this morning at 11 to pick up BBQ for a small gathering we were having. He came home and told me about the “too cool” for you dudes who waited on him. He spent over $150.00 and it was as if the employees couldn’t be bothered. BBQ was good but we won’t be going back because of how rude they were to him. Take your money where the employees treat customers well.
This is now a brick and mortar place not a food truck any longer. It is located in a small retail strip on Larimer near 28th street. It is set back a little so I drove by it once until I found it tucked into a corner. The food is quite good, authentic, not like other places nearby at all. The smoker is out in front too. I had a taste for a mixture of meats, so I had pork belly, brisket, and one rib. I also had a sid of potato salad which was good but I didn't love it. Two types of sauce, tangy and sweet, I liked the tangy better. The brisket was great the pork belly also, The rib was good but I didn't love the rub, just a personal preference I suppose. The place is edgy and fun. A long line always because the word is out now how good this place is. But it moves fast. Staff is friendly. Some seats inside but lots of people were taking their food to the brewery about 30 yards away and eating on their tables which seemed to be perfectly fine. Well worth checking out. It has been a while since I had barbeque this good, especially in Denver.
