The person taking the orders was rude, missed up the order by giving us the wrong items and had to remind her. She totally forgot about our order after paying for it . Would not recommend.
Great spot! If you want them fresh try coming a little earlier in the day we came close to closing but the cream puffs were still delicious! Highly recommend the strawberry shell with the matcha filling

The bakery is so clean and nice. Staff very friendly. The dessert were tasty but nothing too great to push me coming every week. Tried strawberry, original and butter. I liked the butter the most.
Overall I was pretty unhappy with the experience at Beard Papa’s. I walked in to order and originally tried to order a 12 pack of the minis with 2 flavors of filling only to be told by the women working the register that that was not allowed. After finding that out I chose to order a crispy almond cream puff. While the women made the cream puff I noticed that it did not look like the picture of the cream puff on the board. When I asked her about this she assured me that she had grabbed the right cream puff. I then tried the cream puff and it turns out the one she made was the honey butter. When I asked her to correct the order she informed me that because I had taken a bite she could not remake my order correctly. Luckily when I asked the manager to step in he corrected the order. On the bright side, once I got the cream puff I ordered it was pretty tasty.

I like the idea of this place and I went way out of my way to seek it out but the execution is terrible. I can go to Voodoo and get 13 donuts for $22. I paid $24 for six cream puffs at Beard Papa's. They were OK but I can't get behind the pricing. Also there really wasn't much of a selection. I don't see myself going back.
My number 4 chose this place for our mother daughter date! Cream puffs are good, we had 4 different kinds, only thing I wish they would offer hot drinks like coffee or hot chocolate, they only offer ice teas. Nice service too.
