What an awful experience. I joined my friend who had been waiting 20 minutes without seeing his server. We waited another 15 minutes before my friend flagged down a woman who apologized and took our food and drink order. We waited another 30 minutes for a burger and a hot honey chicken sandwich, still no one came by our table to refill drinks or anything. We had to flag someone down to give us silverware as well. On a side note, the restaurant wasn't that crowded, there were empty tables and seats around so they weren't too busy to help. My hot chicken sandwich was awful. The bread was hard and the hot honey sauce had not a sliver of heat just overly sweet. We then waited another 25 minutes until we flagged down the same woman (turns out she was the front of the house manager) and she brought out check and took 15% off our total. Still, I think we over paid. How can you have a restaurant and not teach your people to say least ask when you see a table sitting there for 15 + minutes with no service. Shame on you Louie, you won't be getting my service again
I’ll start from positive the food was perfect just like I ordered.Sad to say service was poorWhen came in wait at the table for good sold 20 min to get my drink order. They didn’t know I was there until the lady that was sitting me down came up and ask if I was taken care of I had Menu in front of me so it was obvious nobody came up and talk to me.I order a Bourbon Burger? I recommend it.The guy that brought my burger out I asked him to tell Miss I want a refill I never got the refill and I was there at the Restaurant about an hour.I had room for dessert so I order a dessert and the chocolate and cream was spilling I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to do that also didn’t get any soul where to eat the dessert with. but the food was really delicious and then I want to use the restroom when I came back the food was gone the server offered me to take one of the items off the list by size fine is K staff is being engage with the customers talking a lot between each other.
The server was horrible. She never greeted us, just walked up to the table and said are you ready to order? We said no we just sat down? She is oh well I didn't know how long you've been here.... With attitude....And then through out our whole experience I said thank you at least 6 times and I never once got a your welcome or anything. The food was pretty good! Little small proportioned. But drinks took forever. And I actually had to ask for water. I don't think we'll be going back..
Up until last week, I had never gone into Bar Louie. I had dismissed it all together, even though I've lived near the Northfield area for over 10 years. I am so glad that I finally made it in. During both of my experiences, Alejandro was the bartender who made my drinks. He did a wonderful job. I often have a bad habit of not knowing what I want, but he made me up a lovely cocktail after the vaguest description of things I like in a drink. He was timely and extremely sweet, in addition to being very skilled behind the bar. Juliana was my server, and she had a wonderful demeanor and made sure that I was taken care of--checking in periodically about my food and water situation--even though she was busy with other tables. She, along with the other servers I saw throughout my time there, handled the rush hour with grace. The food was excellent, and I can't believe I've never eaten there before. I've now gone back for the French Dip a few times. The prices were great, the service was wonderful, and everything was delicious! Thank you so much for being such a pleasant surprise!
Our food was delivered cold. After telling our waitress she explained it wasn’t her fault and apologized. She made no effort to try and make things better such as removing our appetizer from the bill. As a whole the establishment could pay closer attention to detail.
Unreal experience passed threw Colorado for work and had a wicked experience !! Amazing food great service people are awesome ? deff on my radar for a spot to chill and lounge that's for sure thanks for a banging time ??????? I'm rocking with Colorado forsure
A great experience with Shawn our server , definatly will go again. The food was fabulous. The staff was wonderful.
After a long day I brought an employee here for a late dinner to thank him for his hard work. The staff was very friendly. The food was prepared perfectly and the price was more than reasonable.I don't live in Denver, but in the future, when work brings me to Colorado, I'll look forward to another delicious steak dinner at Bar Louie.
Decided to stop by and give it a try. Ordered a margarita which tasted pretty good. Was sat down asap, given a menu and drink on the spot. Service was great, food tasted well too. Will definitely have to stop by again in the near future.
Food was good. The flat bread pizza was very good. The service wasnt that great for as many servers that were there. The bathroom and back of house seating smelt like sewage.
