Went to Denver for vacation and our friend brought us to this place he swore by. Being the adventureous eaters we are we had to go with the Chef Entrust like we do at places that offer tasting menus. It cost 65 dollars a person so its expensive, but defintely worth the experience. The place looked pretty cool. The bar was open to the outside. The food was all pretty good. The part that got out of hand was the desserts they just got to exotic and weren't as good as I would have wanted. Overall for a fancy dinner where you want to try new good foods you haven't had before I recommend this place. We had a table of 5 and the portion was pretty feeling, but I wasn't thanksgiving dinner stuffed.

Get the tasting menu and a bottle of wine for a great time! Everything was amazing. Lots of new flavors and creative dishes. The chefs put their own unique twist on classic dishes to create a memorable dining experience. Service was also incredible. The bartenders deserve some type of award for their hard work.

Had reservation and was immediately seated at a nice corner booth with a view of the open kitchen. Server was very friendly and engaging. Food was excellent. Butter and jam on the breadboard were to die for. Colorado lamb chops were perfect medium rare and flavorful. An almost perfect evening. On their website the menu has an extensive scotch and whiskey list. I was pumped to try some rare bourbons, (assuming no bootlegs) and was disappointed when our server indicated that most of these libations are not available and that they have been out of them for quite a while?

We had the Chef's Family style. It was six courses all from the menu. Not pre-determined. The food was good. The portions were larger than I was expecting. Our waitress Bree was fantastic. Would definitely go back.

Loved everything about this place. The ambiance, our server, the entire food experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. Get the charcuterie board. We devoured before I could take a photo.

An amazing food experience. They allowed us to come in without a reservation on one of their slower evenings. Service was really good and the food was absolutely amazing. Portions were not huge but not small... More like just right. Everything was very, very tasty and worth it.

First time for this foodie here and damn, so delicious! My wife got the bison ribs and I got the salmon. The ribs were tender and delicate, fall off the bone, tender. The salmon did not disappoint! The cornflake gelato was superb, definitely recommend checking it out! Worth the stop in; love the open kitchen concept!

This place is amazing on levels. Despite being restaurant week, Avelina is a well oiled machine where the service is attentive and everything was timed perfectly. There was not a single dish or drink we didn't thoroughly enjoy. We ordered the smoked carrot dip, sweet potato bravas, wagyu beef carpaccio, brussels sprouts, bison ribs, pork tenderloin, red velvet chocolate chip gelato, and raspberry yuzu sorbet. Everything was well balanced and delectable. Unfortunately that also meant the food was so good I forgot to take pictures of everything. I will note the portions are on the smaller side, but for how good it tasted it was still worth the cost. Shout out to our server Jen! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Easily the best meal we had while visiting Denver. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The dining room is understated but comfortable and not too loud. The service was considerate and personal, thank you Jen.

The ambience, food and service were all beyond exceptional. I definitely recommend this place
