I love this place. A wonderful neighborhood restaurant and oyster bar. Fantastic staff, excellent food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’ve gone there alone and have had wonderful chats with lots of really nice people. Love oysters and love Angelo’s! I live in Evergreen, but any time I get to town, I try to get to Angelo’s.

The short version: Great food and service that made me look forward to returning. The long version: I have been looking for a good Italian restaurant for some time, but have been generally disappointed in the places I have tried. So when my wife suggested this place I tried not to get my hopes up.From the outside it doesn't stand out, the parking is cramped, and it's easy to miss, but those kind of things are low on my rating criteria. The interior decor has an old world feel, nothing fancy. Like some place the locals might go. I have never been to Italy, so I can't speak to authenticity, but I got the vibe they were going for. We decided to eat out back to save on the wait. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't feel rushed and they came by multiple times to check on us.Now for the food:Overall, everything was great. Good size portions. Brought out in a good order with good timing. We enjoyed dipping our bread sticks in every dish.Burrata - Amazing. Couldn't get enough. I could eat it every day. Best balsamic vinegar I have ever tried.Oysters - Great. We tried the chipotle and original. Both were full of flavor. We like the original most.Mussels: Really good. We tried it with the white wine sauce. Nice depth of flavor without being overwhelmed by the wine.Lobster gnocchi - Great. We really enjoyed this. The sauce was really good with the included bread sticks, the gnocchi were very enjoyable, although not quite as fluffy as they could be.Tiramisu - Great. We really enjoyed the dessert. Not overly sweet like most desserts in America.Final wrap up: I was very happy with the experience. The food was all excellent and I look forward to returning soon. I am glad to add this great Italian American restaurant to my list of favorites.

Found this place by accident. It was absolutely AMAZING. Ian gave us great suggestions- the service, martinis, wine and food were all fantastic. Try the burrata it is the best we have ever had. If we were local this would be a new go to!

I haven't been to Angelo's Taverna for many, many years and decided to head there today when my girlfriend told me that she was craving Italian. Before going into the food and service aspect of our experience, I just want to point out real quick that the Yelp wait times do not seem to be accurate here for some reason (maybe they don't update them?). The Yelp wait time stated 0 minute wait but we ended up having to wait about an hour for a table for 2.The food's quality has not changed at all since the last time I went there. Everything we got was amazing (please refer to pictures attached). The chargrilled oysters and burrata in particular were our favorites. For the oysters, I would highly recommend the original and bacon and gorgonzola flavors. The chipotle one was underwhelming. The burrata comes with 4 "sauces or dips" that all taste great.Ian was our server and was phenomenal at his job. He was very pleasant and took care of us perfectly.I would highly recommend coming here sometime for some awesome Italian food!

Oh My Oysters !!! Yes, this place had some of the best broiled oysters I've tried in a long time. I also had the lobster gnochhi and a classic caesar. We went on a slower day (Easter Sunday) service was good food was good.

This visit was great. The waiter was very attentive. Cosy exposed brick with stained glass atmosphere. Had the Mushroom Agnolotti (close to vegetarian, but probably has rennet) (also the food tastes better then my horrible picture) (super delicatable) and Tiramisu (huge dessert portion and very addictive and delicate). The oysters were excellent as well.

The wait was not too long as I sat at the bar versus waiting for a table, as their reservations pile on quickly. The staff was polite but very stressed and hard to get the attention of at times, as it is a very busy place. Yet, the happy hour deal that I did was not a bad price for some fancy seafood and cocktails. Plus, the food came out in a solid amount of time and you could taste how fresh the oysters were! I would definitely come again!

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Angelo's Taverna for dinner last night, and I was very impressed. Service was excellent and all staff were very friendly and attentive (shout out to our waitress, Mari, I couldn't have asked for better service), the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed, the prices were reasonable, and we did not have to wait long at all for our food to be served. We ordered Angelo's Bruschetta as an appetizer and I probably could've eaten the whole thing by myself because it tasted amazing. My boyfriend was very happy with the Grilled Chicken Alfredo that he ordered (dish at the top of the picture) and I was beyond satisfied with the Grilled Salmon and Risotto that I ordered (dish at the bottom of the picture). I couldn't have asked for a better dinner to end our vacation to Denver. 10/10 would recommend!

Angelo’s Taverna, at this location, has personality, inside and out.Service is friendly and fast.I was sad to hear they didn’t have the gluten-free fettuccine the Littleton restaurant has (because it’s so good; it’s tastes as good as the gluten version, if not better). However, the gluten-free rigatoni did not disappoint. It was quite good, too. As were the marinara and meatball. For those with celiac, note that the meatballs are not gluten-free.I found street, parallel parking, which was kind of tricky on a busy street. But, I think the restaurant has a parking lot in the back.Angelo’s Taverna is great. Go try it.

The staff were absolute rockstars. Their speed and efficiency was top-notch. They did such a great job attending our group of 14 on short notice. Big shoutout to them ?The food and drinks were impeccable. Some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever had. Will come again for date night
