I can see why people might like it but it’s not my favorite. The burnt ends were good, but the bbq sauce I chose seemed like it had a lot vinegar. I went for the cornbread and was not disappointed -it is a sweeter cornbread with pieces of corn in between. The truffle Mac and cheese maybe was too sophisticated for me (I did not like the smell).
Food was great! Get there early though, they run out of things later in the day like most bbq places do.
Excellent bbq!! Great staff
Food was gross. They didn’t give us any BBQ sauce. Idk how anyone can say this is Texas BBQ. I’m from Texas you wouldn’t be allowed to cook again.
Prices are extremely expensive. 15 or 16 per half pound is steep. The meat had great smoke ring and bark but was missing the coarse salt and pepper flavor that makes it texas bbq. Custard stuffed cornbread was strange. Tasted like I was eating an under baked cake. Potato salad was not quite mayo or mustard. More of a remoulade sauce. Sauces not great either. Overall felt like it was a waste of money.
Delicious BBQ- best I’ve had. The sides are also outstanding. This place is now our regular stop for great BBQ.
Amazing BBQ Joint this Hidden Gem don't know this place has eluded Me but let me tell You something the Beef Rib, Pork Ribs Burnt Ends have the best Char & Smokey Flavor wait a Min It Gets Better the Custard Filled Corn Bread will knock your socks off It will make you wanna go to granny's House. Like Arnold says I Will Be Back!!!!
The sweet tea was not very....sweet - at least "southern sweet". Was still nice tho. As for everything else? FANTASTIC. Seriously I loved everything and it didn't need any sauce. The beans are also so tasty and the sausage in it is a lovely touch! Will definitely come back whenever I'm craving bbq as it's the best I've had in Colorado so far!
Delicious juicy pastrami. They use wagyu meat. This is the first time that I ever had a wagyu pastrami and it was great. The perfect amount of fat. Warning, they do not have rye bread, they have potato rolls. Next time I will buy it by the pound and bring my own rye bread.
oh my gosh, so we got off work just in time to make it to AJs 5 minutes before close on Friday. we were so "those people". but the chef was so amazing and welcoming, and really hooked us up!! I think we got a bit of everything, and it was some of the most amazing BBQ I've ever had!!! I can't wait to spread the word even more of this heavenly food ?
