Surprised at the complaints about customer service here. The employees have always been friendly to me. The sandwiches are fantastic. I always try to stop by whenever I’m working in the area.
The food is really good. The portions are very reasonable for the price of the items. I've been to this place five times, and each time the customer service gets worse and worse. They stand in groups and talk while you are waiting to order, and I couldn't really see the menu. and asked about an item and was told to just read it. I probably won't go back again, but I will say the food is really good.
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a drink and it was $22! Also the salad was super tiny. Extremely overpriced.
The veggie sandwich was good. $14 price tag which is fine but I was expecting the customer service to be better (she forgot to put onions on it 1 minute after I asked her to)
Like others have said - food is good, portions are right, a little spendy but kind of expected, but service is somewhat indifferent. Most frustratingly, they have a sign that talks about how they have a surcharge to provide a living wage for their employees which is fine if a bit preachy, but then they expect a tip at checkout. Kind of resent the bait and switch and wonder whether they really pay their employees a living wage at all.

Nice location ! The service was good , but they served only super greasy sandwiches. Not tasty ones. I don’t recommend this restaurant.
I personally recommend their fries ? I come here at least twice a week for them.
This was my take away meal for the trip back to Avon, and was a delicious one! The deli is located in the iconic Denver Union station and has great variety of food and very good service.
Their website says that they sell an 8-inch pizza and a 14-inch pizza. I asked for the 8-inch, and the guy tells me that the website is wrong; they only have the 14-inch. Wife had wanted a burger, but she has to go the pizza route with me since they don't offer the 8-inch. Me trying their pizza was the only reason why we drove an hour round-trip to Union Station (and paid for parking nearby). The crust was overly charred, which gave it too much of a burnt bread flavor. The sauce was very heavily seasoned. It was far too acidic, and it overpowered the taste of the high-quality cheese, which was more or less wasted in this case. An expensive pizza that was not as good as a big national chain pizza. I only had one meal for a pizza while in Denver for four days and after reading lots of reviews, I picked this place. I was very disappointed. I think one star out of five is a little generous, but maybe some people like burnt pizza crust and overly acidic pizza sauce from an expensive pizza place that lies on their website.
