Mr.Willie (Vietnam Vet)was on point making sure seating was appropriate to party size. That was great because that helped lessen the wait time to be seated. My favorite spot for breakfast with my family on Sunday mornings.
If was pretty busy. I got there at "bar" time. It did take a few minutes for my server to get to me but she was very nice and cheerful. Once she had taken my order it wasn't long before my food was there. Hot! Very good! And great portions! Thanks for taking the time to make sure your customers are happy! Ill be back!
For that classic, cheap, quick, and tasty breakfast experience, one could certainly do worse than this particular Waffle House. The speedy and friendly staff efficiently whip up tasty grits, good biscuits, and perfectly salted ham steaks. I will certainly visit this location again.
Went there on Father's day. Around noon. Was very crowded. We had four in our party. Got our names taken down quickly. When we were seated we were taken care of quickly. Despite it still being busy we did not have to wait long for our food. Yummy as always waffle, hashbrowns, and crispy bacon.
Great little diner. Like any Waffle House, it is small, with a straight forward selection. The waffles are always great and I love getting the scrambled eggs with cheese. Everything is prepared quickly and is a fun little spot to go to. Nothing fancy here, just small, cozy and quaint. We like to come once a month for a lazy day. It's also right next to a Scooters drive through coffee stand if you need some extra caffeine in your life.
It's always a party at the waffle house. What else can I say? John on the grill is an amazing cook. He always makes the most delicious food.
Access is a bit tricky. The venue was clean and the waitstaff very nice and helpful with the menu. The food was good, well plated and reasonable quantity and priced. I forgot pictures.
My family and friends love Waffle House that we go almost every weekend to the Spring. We all wish there was a way that we could suggest that they build one down here in Pueblo, so that it could become more than just a weekend get together with family and friends.
I've been all over this country, in my 5 years as a Commercial Truck Driver. I've had the opportunity eat at a lot of different establishments, all over this country. I've had 7 different opportunities to eat at different Waffle Houses around the United States, and have not had a pleasant experience at any of them. Now, I am home with a different job. I live a night-shift schedule. After COVID, only a slamm handful of 24hour restaurants exist. So, with only a handful of places to eat, at 3am, I was tired of the same 2 burger joints, week after week, month after month. So, I was very reluctant to go to Waffle House, knowing my past experiences with multiple loactions across the country.I can say, with certainty, that this Colorado Springs location was the Best Waffle House I've ever been to. It's the only Waffle House I've attended where the waffles are actually good. The grits and eggs are actually good. It's also the only Waffle House I've been to that doesn't smell like bleach as soon as you walk in, or while you're trying to eat your food. The ladies are quite pleasant and polite, and don't wreak of cigarettes, which is also a pleasant change.
If you go to this location ask for Angelica!! she was the sweetest waitress. My kids loved her!! ?
