Food was really good; so glad I found this spot when I’m out at Fort Carson. I was about to give 5 stars but the female waiter there rolled her eyes when I asked for a table for 1 person. I am not sure why she did that but I found it very rude regardless of her previous experiences. I even asked her if the place was closing? If so, I could go elsewhere. I used to be a waiter, I understand where she was coming from but as I was a customer today, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. Hope the management will take this for consideration.
A Birmingham native, I make it a point to eat here when I'm in the area! The barbecue short ribs are worth whatever price you pay to even travel to the Springs! Nothing I've had is bad.As a character reference, I left my hat by accident after leaving (the food was that good!). I called right at closing. They answered and stayed open extra for me to come get my hat!Great food, great staff, great experience all around!!
First time trying Korean food and I went to the right place! The waitresses were so friendly and helpful (I didn’t know what to order or how to eat it)! The food was amazing! I ordered bulgogi ramen kimchi dumplings. I will be back to try more!
I called for pick up and said that I would need to pay with CC before hand on the phone. I asked how long it would take if I just stopped in to order-- they estimated 15 minutes. It actually took 10. It was delicious!
Long time patron, well over a decade now. My favorite place to get Korean food since I was a kid. Consistently authentic, quality food that deserves more recognition. Goes harder than any place I've been to in LA or Hawaii; always make time for Tong Tong when I'm in town.
Very nice Korean cuisine with all the excellent sides delivered early and plentifully. The kimchi pancake delivers on the fluffiness and spice, and all the dishes nail the profile of flavor. The staff may be overworked, and possibly, stretched but there should be better attention to customers. Patrons might/should/could pay at the front, but, otherwise the food is spot on. Ask for refills.
this wasn't our first choice for dinner. Sadly, no one showed up to open our first choice place. We ended up here and were not disappointed. This was really good Korean food and the service was friendly in spite of a busy night.
stopped by for lunch yesterday; we had been getting our favorite (bibimbap) to go during the start of the pandemic and their attention to detail in packing up all those goodies always shines through; yesterday we were immediately seated and my wife asked if there was any cucumber kimchi (love it...); our server, JoAnn (?) said they were out; before we knew it she bought us a shareable bowl of a variant; a lettuce and cucumber salad with a spicy Korean pepper vinaigrette. We were surprised and impressed that they knew we liked that and brought it to us unasked. We had our usual again and it was awesome; thanks again!
A highly rated Korean restaurant. Been at this localtion for a while. Great food. Really great service. They have some dishes I haven't seen since I was in Korea.
Tong tong is the best Korean food in Colorado Springs. The staff is very friendly and will take care of you! When you’re in the area do not hesitate to stop by and get yourself a bottle of soju or two or three or more! They will show you a good time! This is the place to be!
