One of THE MOST Beautiful, Exquisite hotel properties I've stayed in! Five Stars does not apply here! Ten Stars is more like it! If your given the opportunity to enjoy the Spa or a stay on this hotel property, I guarantee you'll never view hotels the same! Bring a camera to capture the mountains that surround the property! Stunning!

Timeless elegance with wonderful service and impeccable food! Not only a gem of a resort in the USA but in the world! The pool's are a highlight too!! Very clean resort! our very favorite resort for vacation!!

I generally do not write reviews as I am not great with technology. I love staying at this hotel as it was my husband and I's very favorite place to spend our anniversary before he passed. I use the phone to make reservations at the hotel and have always had a very easy time doing so. However, when i recently tried to make reservations I was met with frustration, as sometimes I have trouble communicating. The young lady helping me was impatient and suggested I use the website to make my reservation. I explained my troubles with computers and was having difficulty on the phone. I asked for the young ladys name and I couldnt quite understand, I believe it was Sally or Selma or something along those lines, I wish I knew it. I thought I was on hold until I heard her saying unkind words about me, even a profanity at my expense. I was going to have my daughter help with my reservation but no longer wish to stay here, regardless of the memories my husband and I have made throughout the years. I am very saddened by this experience and hope others don't have an issue simply trying to book a room.

We stay lots of places with varying levels based on why we are there so this is based on what we would expect for rating/price/value so not compared to our rating for a Hyatt place as an example with is a very different price and experience. Would we stay again - for price probably not unless we got a great deal mainly because of negatives. Positiive: Service - in most areas was amazing! Our valet, front desk, porter, concierge, all restaurants we visited (Summitt, Ristorante Del Lago and Play at the Broadmoor) The Room - just gorgeous with so many amenities including robes, drinks, great toiletries, view etc. Picturesque!!! The Summitt - oh my I may not stay again but I will go there :) Gym Not so great :(: Pool/Hot Tub area (main one not open as we were pre-memorial day): Hot tub was filled with kids despite signs with age requirement and no one to be found to address. We didn't go our 3rd time as planned because when we walked by we saw them there and it was so miserable the other two days. Not just kids sitting in it but jumping, throwing a ball etc. and splashing us with no parents or staff around either day. Age range 5-12. I get it I have kids now older but there is a full indoor pool they could be using. Kids just running around uncontrolled - again I am not a kid hater. I have 2 boys but when we come here not Disneyland I expect them to behave and be aware of others around them. Risotrante Del Lago - we didn't love the food. Maybe just what we got but it was average. Play at the broadmoor though service was so nice is just ridiculously priced Staffing - I get it is hard right now believe me but if understaffed offer offsets to make up for...example I waiting 15 minutes to pay for a protein shake after workout. Finally decided to hunt someone down at the spa who came over but then charged me full price even though I shared that. No one was manning the desk - I could have just taken it but nothing. Wasted 20 minutes 15 waiting/5 searching and paying of my vacation to then pay 3x markup on an energy drink. Service recovery is key when mistakes are made. We are all human but 5* resorts offset. It isn't about the money here - philsophy. Net, net the real breaker here was our pool/hot tub experience. It wasn't just once but 3 out of 3 times....that is more then a polaroid but a role of film. No one was aware of that experience from a staff perspective and it was a key part of what we enjoy on a vacation. For this reason alone we wouldn't stay again if we were paying what we did.

A very classy place and Wow what a beautiful hotel. The service was excellent all of the people here treated me so well I felt so spoiled. So much to do and see here with multiple dining options. A classic historic place to see and experience with an amazing zoo nearby. I've been here before and the service and quality was consistent and just as good as before.I highly recommend this resort if you are coming to Colorado Springs!

The Broadmoor used to be a true 5 star hotel. Now it is an over glorified dog kennel. We requested a no animal floor and the minute we stepped off the elevator 2 dogs and owner staring at us. Barking dogs during the night. My clothes had dog hair from sitting anywhere. Staff was not informative or helpful. Starting to look run down. Restaurants are average at best. Very disappointed in this stay.

Certainly a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and vistas. We stayed in the south wing and had a picture like view over the lake and into the mountains. The room was large and airy and although of an older era, well outfitted and maintained. The service from staff was generally as expected from such a prestigious hotel. The only downer we experienced was in the quality of the food in the Grill restaurant. Our calamari starter was only just warm instead of piping hot and it was reheated rather than being cooked fresh. Our main courses of trout and salmon were hot but only average in presentation and flavor .The main reason for my 3 stars is on the managements policy of added a 20% service charge to all bills. Let’s face it, the accommodation already has a premium price without adding a mandatory surcharge to anything that can be purchased. And, from what I could gather from offline discussion with staff, the surcharge is used to supplement minimum wages rather than rewarding special service. An, obviously profitable, business should not be treating it’s customers and staff in such underhand manner purely for the sake of even more profit.

I Recently had a four night stay at the bbroadmoor. It’s a beautiful place - public spaces and rooms. Very comfortable and quiet. So why 3 stars in a place so recognized as this? The food.I ate in four different places during my stay. One meal the entree was way over cooked and dried out…another the steak was as tough as shoe leather with a $72 price tag…and nothing else stands out other than over priced and underwhelmed food experiences.Overall…I loved the room….the public spaces…but would not recommend the restaurants. Finally…if you want to feel captured…this is the place. It’s not in walking distance to anything…

Had a delightful day riding the cograil to Pikes Peak. We Googled what was around for dinner and drinks and decided on the Broadmoor. Walked the halls and admired the beautiful art work and pictures of famous patrons. Unfortunately, we were sat by the patio door. Thinking it will be okay it is very cool outside no one is on the patio. Wrong. The blinds were going up and down by us customers and other staff it was very disruptive to say the least. The view was beautiful. The service was good. The food was delicious!!! It was the week of Easter and the Chocolate display was beautiful!!! Will be back in the future.

Broadmoor Colorado Springs Colorado. We spent five days with a large group and would never go back again. The 5000 acre grounds were beautiful, The three restaurants serve the same menu and was rated a two star restaurants. The service and staff were not knowledgeable and rated a three star. The Broadmoor it’s not a five star hotel and management has a lot of work ahead to bring it back to what it was! RK Chicago
