If I could be give a lower rating I would. Since covid its gone downhill extremely. I've never been so disrespected and disappointed. My waiter had apparently forgot to put our order in so several people got their food before us. Then our order was incorrect. I asked if they could remake the philly fries because there was no onions and barely any peppers that i requested. Instead they added meat and cheese with the onions and peppers on the same order I had sent back. Thats not cool and that's nasty. I complained again. I asked if they could remake it or take it off my order. They just took it off. Wow i was going there in the first place for that. Then the waiters didnt make any eye contact so i had to go up to the front and ask for to go boxes because i didnt want to be there anymore. I will NOT be coming back to this establishment. Smh!

I ordered two hoagies; turkey and Italian. I was disappointed because they tasted more like sandwiches. I tasted no onion, oregano, oil or vinegar even though I requested it on both hoagies. Light mayo wasn't light. I shouldn't see it oozing under cheese. A hoagie is supposed to taste better than what I can get from Jersey Mike's. I'm from Philly and have been eating hoagies for more than 40 years. Step up your game or take Philly out of your name.

As someone from the east coast who found my way to Colorado Springs I have to say I am impressed. The pricing is reasonable and the speed is great as well. The important thing to mention however is the food. This is honestly the closest thing I have had to a real Philly outside of the tri state. I highly reccomend and will personally be returning.

This location Never disappoints!! I love the Plain Philly cheesesteak and fries, and the customer service is always great. Even tonight I had some delivery and menu questions, which not only were taken into consideration and then answered by a note in our take-out bag. Thanks for the great food! ?????

Over the years the RJG has covered many Philly cheesesteak places. Our first experience with Philly cheesesteaks goes back to Philadelphia itself, with business trips starting in 1999. But I have to say the best of them all is right here at Taste of Philly in Colorado Springs. Or to be more specific, this location on South Academy is our favorite. And I have to admit to veering away from Philly standards such as "Wiz Wit", though I've had that here as well. The two things that Taste of Philly always gets right - toasty but chewy bread (this is key) and sizzling hot chopped beef with grilled onions blended in (not oily and plopped on top nasty style). We've taken it even further and love their Green Chile cheesesteak - that's Colorado for you! And recently I even tried their pizza cheesesteak with some wonderful gooey provolone cheese and a piquant tomato sauce. It's sit down service or you can order at the counter to-go.

Best Phillies in the springs. Quite large salads and the Italian dressing is phenomenal! Sweet peppers are off menu online but they do have them and if you request them, they'll add them!

This used to be a good place to get sandwiches. The service is horrible. The person taking orders over the phone is completely unprofessional. My wife tried to order over the phone and the girl was laughing through the entire call then they got the order wrong and when my wife called to complain about it she argued with her. We won't be going back, been ordering from them for a long time.

I ordered an 8 inch Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was packed with small shreds of beef but had little to no cheese on it or any other seasoning. I did not eat more than2 bites and left the remainder. I would rate it as being unsatisfactory.

We've always had a good experience here. Even with changing of staff the quality and service stays the same. They also have fantastic fries!

I ordered takeout today. The Restaurant was very clean. Mushroom cheese steak was very good. Bun stayed together even with the juicey steak. The onion rings were some of the best I ever had.
