We were in town and looking for a last minute cake, sugarplum had just what we needed. Strawberry almond cake, unbeknownst to us, the colors of the cake were my moms wedding and birthday colors. It was perfect.

Was so disappointed I ordered a smash cake for my son's 1st birthday and 12 cookies. I ordered over 3 weeks ahead of time and paid in full. When I went to pick up my order they only had the cake order and knew nothing about cookies. They said they would have the cookies ready the next morning before his party and they'd call around 11:30am. Never heard from them. I already drove quite some distance to this bakery and was going to drive even further the next morning to go back.
I wanted to find a great bakery as I have family in the area and need to send cakes and other sweets periodically. I’m still looking. I said total freedom with the design. I just wanted my anniversary cake to look nice but no I’m not a decorator. I said our colors where pink and silver. I got blue and silver. Mmm okay. I asked for cream cheese buttercream frosting…there was no cream cheese and very little butter. It was a flavorless icing. The red velvet cake was very dry and nothing special in taste. I was told it would be delivered at noon to my hotel. It was 5 pm before it showed up after I called and asked about it. I was almost in tears as I wanted this to be a surprise and worked with the hotel on that. .65 for an average tasting, wrong frosting, dry and late cake…..yep never using them again
This place is amazing. Our cake was PERFECT for our sons birthday. Very reasonably priced. The taste was also sooo good!
They made us the most perfect cake for our fairy tale wedding! It was delicious, wowed our guests, and the entire process ordering/designing it was totally stress free. I even made our cake topper, which ended up being super heavy, and they flawlessly got it on the cake without anything getting crushed. An absolutely delightful small business. These people are the reason to go local.
