Just rich, robust, complex coffee made the way it should be.The family who owns Story is also a giving and charitable family.Right down the street is Solar Roast (? meh, nothing special,) and Caribou coffee (??basically just dirty water). I highly suggest Story Coffee if you're downtown.

The Americano here is amazing as well as the Baristas. The blend they use 2 parts Columbian and 1part Ethiopian is superb. It brings out a subtle sweetness in the Americano that makes it so enjoyable. Bravo!
Our first time in Colorado Springs, and we came to Story Coffee Company twice because we enjoyed it so much. The staff members are kind and intentional. The coffee is delicious- highly recommend the espresso shot. We also enjoyed the weekday morning coffee-goers there and getting to know the regulars. Outside and inside seating.
I loved my experience at Story! It made it so happy that they have a window I can walk up to and order from—it makes it so much easier to get coffee when walking doggos. The barista was very kind. Cranberry rosemary scone was super yummy. I can’t wait to visit again

Dark roast drip was great. Pastries were good too. Barista was super nice.
