The food is awesome. The sauce is unbelievable good.
Excellent food and great customer service. We arrived on a Saturday and there was a short wait for a group of four. Our server was very attentive and greet us very well. The menu is full of options. We got our beverage right away and the food didn't take tooLong. During the rest of our meal, our server checked with us few times to make sure everything was OK. Definitely a stop for breakfast if you are in the Colo Springs area.
The service was slow. Over 10 minutes to get a water. Food was fair. I ordered the breakfast pot pie. The egg was cooked runny. (I ordered over medium). I had to request extra gravy, I just needed enough to cover the pastry.
If you’re a breakfast foodie, this is the place for you. They have a unique offering of breakfast foods plus the classics. I had a platter that consisted of 3 eggs, your choice of protein (I had a sausage patty) choice of toast, a hash brown, and a side of the most delicious blackberry jam. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. If you’re in the Colorado Springs area, this is definitely the breakfast place you want to go to.
Came in early AM on 5 July…..only had customers at 2 tables…..decor and vibe was very nice. We counted at least 7 staff in the front of the house….only 2 were doing any work at all. One girl stood against the counter the whole time we were there, with a look on her face that seemed to say, “I’d rather be anywhere but here.” Also, the floor under all the tables looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days…..debris and dirt everywhere (“if you have time to lean…..”). Another thing: why does a breakfast place, that closes at 2:30 PM, need a bar with over a hundred bottles of hard liquor? Cute restaurant idea, food was average, but nothing special enough to come back for.
first time at Snooze and we will be back!! Food was so good and service was awesome!
Heard many good things about Snooze so we decided to give it a try! We arrived at 9 am without a wait…. By 10 am the place was pretty packed. I followed the wait time on Yelp. Lots of menu options… I had eggs Benedict - delicious; my husband enjoyed the burrito! It was really big. Coffee was ok. Service was ok.
Tasty spot for brunch with good coffee. Make sure you join the Yelp waitlist on a busy Saturday morning or else you’ll be waiting at the restaurant for over an hour. Worth the wait, just plan ahead.
Sadly, Snooze has gone a little downhill in my opinion. I first tried Snooze in Boulder, years and years ago and it was phenomenal. Perhaps the best brunch I've ever had. However, through the years more and more locations have popped up and they don't seem consistent. At this particular location, North Colorado Springs, the wait staff was great and the ambiance was typical of Snooze: bright, trendy, cheerful, busy. However, the food took forever (at 11am on a Wednesday) and it was served just slightly warm. It was still a delicious brunch, but at $20 (for one meal, a water, plus tip) I feel like Snooze has lost its luster.
Very cool hip place to have. Real fast. The staff was terrific and friendly. The food looked as good as it tasted. Happy people!
