Smoothies are great! But whoever hired the older lady at the Barnes and Powers location is a totally b*%$#... I thought it was just a bad day for the older lady, but NOPE, all 5 times I have been there she is always like that. She doesn't say hi to ANYONE and makes the young teen employees terrified and scared to even interact with this older lady employees. Idk who hired her... but maybe a refresh on customer service for her!
I went to the Smoothie King on Barnes in Colorado Springs on 3-5-2022 at about 4pm. The store was very clean. The store was well staffed and the line moved quickly. The smoothies were excellent. Highly recommended.
Every time I go here I am never greeted. It’s very awkward I always walk in and ask how they are doing and I get ignored both times
I have been coming to this smoothie king for the past two years and the staff never disappoints! Smoothies come out smooth with no ice chunks and are blended just perfectly. The staff always seems friendly and respectful, definitely will keep coming back to this location!
My husband and I are obsessed with smoothie king but sadly the customer service in this place is consistently terrible. I’ve given it multiple chances but unfortunately the employees seem annoyed to be there and annoyed that I’m there ordering something :) if you value customer service, I would recommend going somewhere else that values your business!
Tasty but super expensive!! Customer service is lacking. Four people employed in the store one person working. Funny how that works.
Closed at the oddest times, poorly managed, and really bad experience with the app. Location is convenient, but makes no difference if you they can't actually serve you during peak times.
Went in because I was unlucky enough to have a order put in at 7:55pm that "Didn't go through" because they close at 9:00pm as I was told by the employees when I went in at 8:41 after several attempts to call the store with no answer. To then STILL leave empty handed since making my order then and there IN THE STORE was still not an option. To which I came home and am now finishing this at still 8:54pm store should have yet to close.
Veterans day email said 2-6pm for a free smoothie. So I figured I'd take the ride. As I don't get to go often these days. (I've spent ALOT of money here in the past) so I figured I'd grab my free one. Sign on the door says 7am - 11am. That's shady. I'll find somewhere else to buy my smoothies.
I love Smoothie King, I'm originally from where it started so I KNOW SMOOTHIE KING. I grew up on it, worked at the 1st Smoothie King in COS, and an avid smoothie king drinker. I used to drive 30 mins just to get one in Castle Rock & on the south end of the Springs. I am very disappointed in this location for it's customer service from I believe the owner or manager. First of all, there has always been ONE type of strawberries. So when I got a drink with added strawberries, the cashier asked if I wanted sugar or sugar-free strawberries. I said give me the original strawberries (because there has never been two options before and no OTHER LOCATIONS asks this- it's always been one type of strawberries). When I received my drink it had NO FLAVOR. I asked them if they could remake the drink because it did not taste like normal (I should know because I have been getting the same drink since 2015). Plus there is a "we'll make it right guarantee sign" on the glass. The owner/ manager gave me a hard time about fixing my drink. First, they asked me if I've ever had this drink before. She gave me attitude about asking to re-make the drink (I was not giving attitude or being rude and I feel her demeanor was uncalled for). They had made my drink with the sugar-free strawberries which is not the normal strawberries. She took my receipt, looked up my order and said "this is the only time we will do this". She threw my receipt away without asking if I wanted it back. She made it seem like I have asked for them to remake my drink before in the past, which I have never done. SO I don't understand why she made that comment. I'm just not going to support a business that behaves this way. I was very excited about this location when it first opened, since I didn't have to drive all the way across town to enjoy my favorite smoothie's. Plus their rewards scanner always seems to be broken when I have gone in there.
