If you enjoy a really tasty burger you’ll want to eat at The Skirted Heifer! The moment we walked in we were welcomed with smiles & friendly service, everyone included. The portions are huge, hubs and I shared an order of fries and I brought half my burger home for later, yum! The place is small and first come first serve but there is also seating outside. I initially decided to pass on having my turkey burger with pineapple skirted, as soon as I saw hubs’ skirted hangover burger, I jokingly said to the server that I should have gotten my skirted. He laughed and the grill cook overheard and offered to add a skirt so I accepted, how kind was he! Hubs went to the cashier to pay for the added skirt and there was no charge, that was unexpected and so nice! They serve a variety of burgers and you can also choose your own toppings from their build your own menu. The custard looked really good, we were too full & satisfied to try it though. We definitely recommend The Skirted Heifer!
This restaurant is renowned and it's for a good reason. Everyone who works there is exceptionally nice and both the burger and their fries are great. I also appreciated that you could serve yourself the condiments (like ranch) and that their soda was cane sugar-based. It was an all-around great experience and I look forward to going back.
I came here with my wife on a date night and we really liked this place. The menu isn't huge and has unique burger combinations which are perfectly balanced for flavor and texture. I had the skirted Pueblo Farmer burger and I really enjoyed the flavors of the avocado and the chillies. I was perfectly spicy for me and I didn't think it was too hot but some people may. Didn't know what the skirted option was before coming here but it where cheese is melted around the burger and is browned forming a skirt when picking up the burger. It added great flavor and texture to the burger. My wife had the burger of the week, the ardy, and had artichoke dip on it. She really enjoyed it but it was very rich. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back for sure.
I really want to give Skirter Heifer a five star rating, but every time I have ordered one of their burgers skirted (a layer of grilled cheese over the burger), it turns out well done, even though I order my burger medium rare. The toppings on the burger are amazing, but the overdone meat leaves a lot to be desired. I really enjoy their Belgian fries and pure cane sugar sodas, I just wish the burger was cooked properly. This was my first time trying this location, I had my first burger at the other location and encountered the same problem. I will try one more time and order the burger rare to see if that will alleviate the well-done burger issue. Overall, it’s not a bad restaurant, and the staff is very courteous, I would just advise, if you order a burger skirted, order the burger rare, if you want the burger pink in the center. If you want a well-done burger this is definitely the place for you.
The food was delicious and she sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had. The burger of the day was served on a bed of spinach at my request which made me very happy.

Sweet potato fries were REALLY good, nice staff too, burger was solid, I should try their specials some time to really give it a rating as to whether it was great vs good
This place was recommended by a friend. Since we are new to COS we tried it. Amazing food, great prices. Super nice employees. Thank you. We will bring guests here and will be back.
Went there about a month ago and they burnt our skirts. Commented on their website with no response. Called them and basically it was like "sorry". All three of our burgers were bitter because of the burnt skirt. They really didn't seem to care.
