Not only is this the best place for Chinese in the Springs, but it’s authentic NY style. Check out the fresh crisp veggies in the fried rice. Egg rolls… super crispy outside and filled with goodness on the inside. Customer service is awesome too.*****I’d also like to respond to the review about portion size and pricing. A pint is a pint and a quart is a quart. This is authentic NY style Chinese and the portions are on point as well as the flavor. Ok, Karen.To the dude with chow men vs lo mein, it looks like they tried to fix it and I believe that with their customer service. Helloooo? Lo mein is the softer noodle, that’s a customer obligation to research and they even tried helping. Shame on you for that review for your negligence and choice to be ignorant. *******
I had heard nothing but good things about this place and recently tried it for the first time. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and it was delicious, it's now my go-to in the Springs anytime I am craving Chinese food.
Ordered chow mein expecting noodles and got a sort of chicken and veggie soup with some wontons. When I asked they said those were the noodles for the chow mein. Made for a disappointing dinner.Response to restaurant: You did call but that was confusing. I ordered chow mein and you asked if I meant to order crispy chow mein or soft lo mein, so of course I said chow mein because that’s what I ordered. Chow mein is always crispier than lo mein, but wontons are not chow mein. Just google “chow mein” and look at pictures. Some pictures on your menu would resolve the confusion. You have reviews from 2 years ago saying the same thing about your “chow mein” being wontons…
This place is the best authentic New York style Chinese/Japanese food! I’ve eaten the entire menu and there’s nothing to be disappointed with. And the service is to die for, the cashier is always so friendly and nice. I’ve been eating here for 3 years and I still can’t get enough.
Wow, If only there was a 6th star to give! The staff were so very sweet. Stopped by and ordered take out for dinner tonight. The food came out very fast and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were beyond expectations as well. My fiancé and I had left overs for another meal, then some. I will be back again, and again. If you’re looking for your fix on Chinese and Japanese cuisine, look no further. You’ve found your spot!
Don’t listen to the bad reviews!I’m an out of state visitor and literally sesame chicken is my life. I found this place when looking for some take out and I am SOOOOOOO glad that I did!! From now on, I’m eating at Rong Cheng any time I visit the Springs. My hubby and I got the egg drop soup, cheese rangoon, pot stickers, and sesame chicken. I made a special request for the sesame chicken to be made not spicy and they were so kind about it! They welcomed us in when picking up our food and were so incredibly sweet! Seriously, give this place a try. They’re definitely worth it! (Also the portion sizes are great, I don’t know what other people are talking about when they say they’re too small).
Honestly, this is the go to place for Chinese take out in The Springs. Period. The portion sizes are big, fairly priced (in fact I’d pay a bit more) and great flavor. We usually do the combos and whichever you get is good, but the noodles and pork egg rolls are the go to for us. If I’m not mistaken, they were once in New York and made a name for themselves and now traveled here. Listen, $10-$11 for a big comforting plate of delicious Chinese take out?! I’ve wasted more on much less and The Springs has very few places that are authentically good but, this place is one of the few good ones.
Flavor was good . Portions seemed small for what we paid . Don't usually go here but they were one of the only places open on Christmas. To be honest there are other places in the Springs for everyday Chinese take out

I absolutely love this place! I have ordered from here for the past 4 years. Took a few tries with different places, but once I found them I have never gone anywhere else.The people are very friendly, the food is always amazing (especially the sushi!!!) I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is. I always place a huge order and they nail it every single time!!! No food is missing, nothing is ever cold. Highly highly recommended!
