We pulled into the parking lot with very few cars. That should have been enough for us to turn around. When we arrived at 7 for our reservation only 4 tables were occupied. The fired mozzarella had no taste the Mac and cheese bites were nice. We both ordered the chicken parm. Food came out promptly. My chicken was nasty! It seems like it was sitting out uncovered and all the exegesis got dried out and hard. The taste was just awful. Our waitress finally returned to check in on us after I was just sitting there for about 10 min. I told her we needed the check and that the food was horrible she giggled and started to walk off when I told her I was serious by now I was very frustrated and not wanting to be rude we paid the check and left.
We had an awesome experience here tonight!! It was my cousin's rehearsal dinner, and the team at Romano's Macaroni Grill made custom printed menus for our dinner together. Justin, Hailey, and the others did an incredible job managing our group of 20 with quick and friendly service. The food was great. The Cheesecake and Gelato was my favorite. Highly recommend to others!!
Very disappointed! The waitress was drunk we believe. She forgot our appetizers. (Which after we got our entrées, we were happy because the food was not good.) Speaking of entrées, the waitress brought half of our groups food out and took 10 minutes to bring the other half’s food out. The food itself was not hot. My son in law has hard pasta. The chicken parm was so dry and overcooked. Not sure what happened to this place? Used to be a great experience! We won’t be going back!!
COVID-19 is not such a thing anymore. $2 macroeconomic fee? This place has an extremely limited menu now (which is not the real problem as many places are adjusting to less staff and more turnover). Smaller menu = less training required, less overhead of product. The problem we had was being seated and sitting there for 10 minutes before someone even greeted us. They sat a table of 6 that sat down 10 minutes after us had bread and water and their order taken before we even were told “hello”. We finally both ordered our entrees and salads. 25 minutes later, were apologized to and staff blamed it on a 14 top that overloaded the kitchen. The rest of the restaurant was empty. I saw through their transparent kitchen that they pulled the salad person to help with soups and sauté. So after 45 minutes total, and it being my wife’s birthday, we were done. It’s sad to see a business end up like this because I saw people working hard, but there was too much confusion going on for us. Nobody directing the front of the house. We asked the waitress if we owed anything for the 3 bites of bread and waters, and were told “no”. So we left. Never going back. Good luck with your business model Macaroni Grill.
Food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was awesome. She took great care in checking up and getting items we needed. Moms Meatball spaghetti and the lasagna was delicious, hot and tasty. A shout out to the chef. We will stop again soon.
They're delivery is a scam. They missed almost half our order for delivery and then we were told we could come and get the rest. Manager claims the delivery company would charge again to complete our order. Then cover the cost of you and your staffs incompetence (to which the manager admitted on the phone). Thanks for refunding parts of the order you missed now maybe you could refund us part of the delivery fee, or would that put you in the red?By the way, delivery service was awesome! Right on time! I do not blame the delivery service. They should be compensated, I should have ALL my order and Mac Grill should pay the bill!
I had never been, but always seen them around. Finally went with family and the food was delicious, definitely will return.
My family was sat in a booth that had a wooden slab/shelving directly behind us. Rather than take dirty dishes from other tables to the kitchen, servers continued to place them right behind us, along with dirty cloth napkins. It wasn’t until after our salad and soup arrived that our server took it upon himself to remove other servers dishes that they continued to drop off. Portions were small and prices were high. Our food was dry with little sauce & the pasta on the chicken scallopini was over cooked and mushy. People around us were complaining how cold it was and were sitting with their coats on. My husband eventually had to go to the car to get our coats as well. The only great thing about our dinner was the service-thank you Josiah. Our server did his best to make our evening enjoyable-apologizing for the wait on our dinner and the air being turned on. Sadly, not one manager did a walk through, nor came by to check on any tables.
This is our favorite place for Italian food, as there is something for everyone...including the vegetarian of the family! I especially love their gluten-free noodles: they aren't an odd texture like most restaurant GF noodles. We always have awesome staff that are both friendly AND fast!
Not impressed w this place at all. Service was absolutely horrible. My meal was warm to say the least. Husband ordered ck Parm. His ck was raw in the middle. The waitress was scatter brained and did not know what the hell was going on. She had to make our drinks. No bartender and drinks were horrible. They gave us a free dessert but trust me worst hundred bucks we ever spent. The bread At beginning was not hot snd oil dipping sauce tasted like shampoo. Worst meal we have had out in years.
