Our experience here was very sub-par. They have the option to either order from your table via an app or at the front. We tried the app and it was very "clunky" to use. This would be a 1* review if the food was not excellent. My wife had to order 3 beverages before they offered to make her one that was not even on the menu...something that she did not even want.Being a coffee shop you would think that they would be very proud of their coffee, but can you guess what I ordered and never received? Coffee. Yup a coffee shop that did not even serve me my coffee that I ordered. The service was not good. The drinks that were on the menu were not available and --- again --- I never received my coffee. I wanted to see what would happen...double checked and verified my receipt that I did, in fact, order coffee - not even a hard order, just a large black coffee. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Seems like a hidden gem tucked away in the middle of the forest. I had a breakfast sandwich and my wife had the parfait which were both delicious. Coffee was excellent and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional even for being youngsters. I only wish they were also open in the afternoon so we could come by and study in the nice atmosphere, but we are definitely coming again!

First time here. Got the black forest Latte, had to for my first time being its in black forest. It was a little too sweet for me personally but the mocha cherry flavors both shone well. Reminded me of Duch bros sweet level. The breakfast sandwich was very good, albeit a little greasy on the bread. I chose bacon for my meat and sourdough was the only bread choice this particular day. The eggs were light, fluffy and seasoned well. I could tell there was garlic in them, which I love, and could see a green herb in the mix (parsley maybe?). The bacon was good too.Cinnamon roll was big, a little on the firm side. Your basic average cinnamon roll I'd say. Icing came on the side.Got a strawberry muffin for a friend too. I was surprised how tall it was like 6 inches or so high. Can't say how the flavor was for it bc I didn't try it.It was the last day for the drive thru to be active. For future orders they want you to order online and pull up in a pickup parking spot instead.

I visited today on a whim after googling food places on my way home. The food was great (pepperoni crepe, breakfast sandwich, and the spinach berry salad were today's selections). I am not a coffee drinker so I cannot speak to that aspect, but I really enjoyed the purple people eater drink as well. I didnt have time to sit down and eat today, but I enjoyed the homey atmosphere while I waited for my food. Service wasn't slow, but it wasn't fast food quick either (which shouldn't be expected in my opinion). I did find it to be a little pricey, but it was worth it. I look forward to returning again soon to try some of their other options!

Still my local favorite since I was a resident of Black Forest and continue to go there at least once a week even though I no longer live in the forest. The food is great and the coffee is a staple in my house. Keep up the good work Ryan and staff. :)

Great place to stop for truly great coffee. We’re lucky to have R&R in the Black Forest and the great coffee they provide compared to places like Starbucks etc.I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t and live anywhere near. Also if you’re in the Forest start getting your morning coffee & danish there instead of Starbucks and help support a business in the Forest otherwise pretty soon it’ll be Starbucks and McDonald’s on the corners instead of local owned businesses!

The food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is friendly. Price is reasonable considering that everything nowadays is so expensive. You don't get much on your plate but definitely enough. The ambiance is simple but charming, and would definitely recommend.

Saw the great ratings and looked forward to a great breakfast. The food was not even close to decent. Bacon had an old, nearly-rancid taste. The cinnamon rolls weren’t risen or fully cooked - flat and kinda raw. There’s no way the French onion soup was fresh or made in—house - it had this murky gray color to it. The breakfast burrito was covered in some weird gray slop. Breakfast sandwich was tasty. People working there were nice, if stressed out, and the service was good and friendly, but this is not a place we’ll visit again.

Was disappointed in the service the moment we arrived. No one acknowledged us until we tracked someone down after being passed several times by workers. Food took awhile, ok, good food takes time and love, food arrived and it was cold like it had been sitting there for awhile or maybe wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Coffee was good. But will not be returning due to the poor customer service and cold food.

I ordered the syphon coffee and chicken and waffles. Both were amazing.Didn't care too much for the slaw on the chicken and waffles, but either way it's 5 stars.
