We had appetizers and beers while bowling. It was fun and food was decent. Would have liked the fries to be crispier.
Didn't bowl, but had a few drinks in the lounge. The QUIETEST bowling alley ever. There must be some amazing sound blocking technology - I have no idea how they did it. There's pool and a couple other bar games down the back. 80's soundtrack the night we were there.
Seems like everyone that rated this place got paid, it is still nice class since it is the broadmoor. But the bartender is rude and expect you to cherish her since she is working. I spent over $250 and she treated me like trash and like I needed to leave as soon as I was done to open her to another customer.
This place is spectacular! Though quite expensive for bowling the great service and delicious (And surprisingly not insanely expensive) food make up for it
Had my husband's work Christmas party here and it was a lot of fun and the staff was great!
Great food great service, little loud.
Best milkshakes in Colorado Springs and one of the most family friendly restaurants inside the Broadmoor, would highly recommend to everyone that visits
I attended the Colorado Springs Chamber Gala last Saturday and an African-American man, in a suit, directing traffic on Lake Ave. YELLED at me for allegedly holding up traffic when entering the roundabout. I was yielding for pedestrians and told him that and he just rolled his eyes at me and told me to keep going. This was my first time visiting the Broadmoor for an event and I can't believe that a male employee would yell at a female for not wanting to run people over. I was so disturbed by this the rest of the night, that I couldn't enjoy the Gala. Do better with your hiring!
One must experience the Broadmoor to realize that professional hospitality still exists, even during COVID and staffing shortages. The service was impeccable. This was my first visit to this renown property so I was pleasantly surprised. A colleague mentioned that he was afraid the service wouldn't be match his previous visits but that was not the case. All employees were extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the property, and provided service with a smile. That combined with the beauty of resort and the aesthetic of the western art succeed in blending the Gilded Age and the Wild West. So much history and beauty in one place. The rooms and the views were first rate deserving of the Forbes Five Star rating. This visit was worth the cost.
First some context: My standards are quite high so when I rate a property, I compare it to previous stays at high end properties such as the Beau Rivage in Geneva, The Peninsula in Hong Kong, The Houstonian in TX, or the Savoy in Florence. I state this not to sound snobby but to let the reader know that I am not basing this review comparing this property to the Holiday Inn Express. From the moment I arrived, I noticed the attitude of the staff. In a world when the service industry is desperate for people, the Broadmoor has set the standard for finding and training staff to a level commensurate with a wonderful guest experience. A few stand outs: Allen, the Assistant General Manager - called me personally to welcome me and to encourage me to contact him should there be any issues(there was a small one and he corrected it straight away). Allen's guest philosophy is "The answer is yes, what is the question." Faye at the front desk is incredibly pleasant and also subscribes to this philosophy. Finally, Megan (our server) at Del Lago. An energy supplier and always smiling! Beautiful property, wonderful food, and a great attitude of the staff contribute to a memorable stay! Thank you Broadmoor.
