Very nice and friendly host. The pizza was good. A bit more ingredients around the edge would be better. The price is a bit high. I think bringing cost down would get them a 5 star.

We’ve been to pizzeria Rustica twice now within the past month. Both times it has been nothing short of exceptional. My first time going we started with the fonduta and had the cinque formaggi pizza as well as the special pizza of the day which had meatballs, red onion and pecorino. We loved the meatballs so much that my mom ordered an order of them along with her meal. I split the formaggi with my mom and my dad had the pizza of the day on his own. The pizzas are not that big and are 6 slices so perfect for a big personal pizza. I also went again today and started off with the same appetizer. My mom had the montucky beer that she liked from last time but they have a variety of wines. We once again got the pizza of the day this time it had five cheese, pepperoni, red onion, and chili oil. I once again got the formaggi pizza which was amazing, my mom got the meatballs as her meal. I’m not a fan of red sauce usually but I loved the meatballs and marinara. If you ask for it they will provide chili oil and truffle oil to dip your pizza in which I’m my opinion makes the pizza even better. The service is amazing and when we went at 4 pm on a Monday it wasn’t busy at all and it finally picked up around 5. When we went at 6 it was pretty busy though but not busy enough so, there was no wait. Eating there you also get to support local businesses and farms, they have a list of all the farms where they get their ingredients to show where you’re supporting when eating there. For us three to eat there it was over 100 but that was 2 appetizers two beers, two pizzas and the quality is TOTALLY worth it!! I’d say it’s moderately priced. Everyone is so kind and social and have amazing recommendations. I highly recommend.

Wow. I probably got the best Napoliten Pizza in my 1st day in Colorado Springs. Their pizzas are really tasty and the environment is good too. Service was great too.

Went to Pizzaria Rustica tonight. Our teenage daughter picked the place and I had not been there since they opened. It’s was wonderful! I don’t drink wine so I had a beer. My hubby had water and my kiddo a Diet Coke. We had the smoked mozzarella done in a small cast iron pan like a founde. It was served with slices of herb infused bread. Very Yummy! My hubby enjoyed a Cesar salad and the pizza of the day which had their homemade meatballs, red onion and homemade mozzarella on it. My daughter ordered (I will unfortunately butcher the name so not to offend the Italians I will just describe) it is an everyday item on their menu. My daughter and I think it is the best pizza that we have had the honor of eating. It is on their house made pizza bread, covered in a light white sauce and then sprinkled with four different cheeses. Then just a kiss of parsley. After reading that I’m sure you know what I ordered. A PLATE! After trying the meat balls on my hubby’s pizza of the day I asked for an order to go. They serve it as an app and the great thing is you can try their meat and pizza sauce first in case you are picky about sauces. (If you’re on here you too are a sauce snob) They support many local farmers. So you can feel good about that. I looked up their menu online but it seems to have changed. So just set a reservation and walk around Old Colorado City till it’s time to be seated. Make a reservation. I suggest early. They only have limited seating inside and out!

I’m giving them a 1 star review. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for the two top table near the window because it was my husband’s birthday and I was hoping for a more romantic setting. When we arrived they lost our reservation and made us sit practically cafeteria style with an older couple at the end of our table. There was a large rowdy bunch 3 ft away and another group of 4 within feet of us. It was so warm in there and the booth sank so low that I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were in there. My husband couldn’t hear anything I was saying. He was sweating. Meanwhile the quiet two top near the window sat there empty. The staff made absolutely no effort to reconcile the situation and therefore his special birthday dinner was extremely disappointing. They did not offer a discount or dessert or even an alternative table that could provide similar dining. The food was great, but the restaurant experience was a complete disaster. Also there was trash all over the floor of the single bathroom. We wont be back.

Most authentic Italian pizza in the Springs. If you're looking for some delicious pizza, look no further. Beautifully cooked, perfectly seasoned, and only fresh ingredients went into my pie. I will definitely bring my mates here to try it. I got their pizza of the day and was not disappointed in the least.*Update* my last trip I was a little disappointed. The pizzas were undercooked, from the crisp and warm pizza I got last time with the crust on bottom perfectly darkened without being burned this time the pizza was undercooked. Still delicious but I hope they take more care to cook it properly next time.

The pizza here is phenomenal; it's definitely the best brick over pizza I have ever had. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. Their salads were OK.

Adorable Italian restaurant. Food was great!

Our pizza was amazing. All the ingredients were fresh and homemade. We started out with our favorite caprese salad...so good! Wonderful friendly service! The whole experience was an unexpected treat!

Not your average pizza joint. Service is 5 star, food is 5 star, and all round feel of the restaurant is awesome. Extremely authentic take on pizza.
