Amazing food at incredibly reasonable rates. Great spot to hit up after work for a bite and drink!
Absolutely delicious! Small inside dining but tables turned over quickly and they are adding a large outdoor seating area. We tried 5 different tacos, the chorizo breakfast sandwich and the rice balls all with unique and different flavors. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
Bomb food! Although hopefully they’ll work more on cleanliness - restroom and the tables. It’s sticky and felt like wasn’t cleaned that much to remove debris of food prior. Would’ve loved to try their churros so we have the complete meal but they said they were packed and got sold out. While the drinks were good —towards the end— it wasn’t mixed (?) well before handling it to us so it tasted too lemony (mojito) at first.Still good food but a little pricey ?
The food was fire, service was very nice. But the price for the amount of food you get?? Insane. I paid $13 for three tiny empanadas that I ate in about two minutes, when I was expecting a full meal as this was my first time in. Very disappointing, but I'll probably come back when I'm rich
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and the staff is the best! Oh…the margaritas are the best ever!
We were looking for a quick late lunch / early dinner and decided to try Piglatin Cocina. I am very glad we did!We started with their signature Margarita. It was a little small but also not filled to the brim with ice. It was the right mix of sweet and tart with a salty rim.For our meal I had the OG Stacked Arepa (gluten free). It was packed with flavor! The crispy arepa with a soft interior, topped with sweet pork and stringy mozzarella cheese, barely noticeable spinach (although my immune system thanked me for eating it) and spicy sriracha made for a perfectly delectable bite. If you are not a fan of spicy food, I would recommend asking for the sriracha lite or on the side.I wanted to try one of the tacos and chose the Guava Lava Chicken (gluten free). I ate this second and I was very glad I did! This taco was SPICY! I would order it again and absolutely eat it last. I like spicy food (medium - hot is my preference) and this was hot - hot. Before the heat took over, I could tell the texture was delightful and the flavor was delicious. My husband had the Piglatin Plate (gluten free). It was savory, salty and sweet. The amount of food was just right for a lunch portion. He also had the Yuca wedges (gluten free - although fried in the same oil as gluten containing foods). They were ok and a nice side but he would likely try something else next time.TL;DR - The Street Tacos and Plates are all gluten free or can be made gluten free. The sides are fried in the same oil as the empanadas.
Great private area for working lunch
Everything!!!!!
I really like the guava lava tacos. I just cannot stand the volume or the choice of music. The first time I went was with some friends and we had to go outside with our food just to be able to have a conversation. The wait staff is kind of busy being cool and the service is not great so that is why I order online for pick up. The amounts of food are hit or miss as well - sometimes what I would consider a normal amount but several times when ordering 3 tacos got the amount I have had for 2 tacos.
Fantastic latin/Cuban inspired bar/restaurant. Offers outside, take-out and online service. Tried the kimci and island tacos. Yum, yum!!! Very fresh ingredients and tasty product. The spicy smoked pork sandwich is outstanding. Also really enjoyed the Mexican street style corn. They also offer a military/veteran discount.
